Bodypiercing ears.....

... in the cinema Saturday and there was a guy with his ear piercings stretched up to hold, what looked like £2 coins - instant reaction, very handy if you run out of change!!

However if you remove these lumps of metal does the ear lobe retract, or does it stay like that forever?

Depends how big the hole is, a penny piece size hole would close up as best it can, but I think something bigger would just droop down.

I stretched mine to 12mm and then had to take it out for work(work with food). That was about 2 years ago and I recently was able to get a 5mm tunnel back in again easily.

If you don`t go above 5mm,it will go back to the size of a regular ear piercing.

A bloke I used to work with had a hole in his ear lobe with a big wooden hoop thin in it, when he took it out he could fit a coca cola can in his ear lobe!

On days when he would come into work without his wooden hoop thing in it, his ear lobe would dangle that far down that he would take his ear lobe and tuck it up over the top of his ear.

I had a 10mm flesh tunnel through my lobe. Ive had it out for about 4months now and it just looks like a regular piercing now..... although it did look a bit like a dogs butt hole for a while
