To much bottled water can be bad for you and can give you kidney stones. My mum and alot of her friends drink alot of it as cant drink the tap water in spain and quite a few have had kidney stones.

Also a lass i know from england thats all she drank, even in pubs and she got them. Its somthing to do with a build up of minerals in the kidneys. Its not proven in alot of countrys but it happens alot in dubhi and thats the reason they give for alot of there kidney stone operations

This poll could also be called "who can afford to buy bottled water " especially in the amounts we [should] consume it.

Taps passable here,if in doubt filter it,apprently its cleaner that bottled anyhow even though we have all took weewees and poopoos in it,dumped tampax, condoms, snot and vomit init. .

Surely tap water is better for you. If you look there is a bottled date on it normally some bottles have been sat for 6 month in ware houses or even the sun for ages then chilled and sold. cant be good a bottle of water been stood that long

tap water has to meet quite high requirements whereas I dont think bottled water does. However I mostly drink from a water filter cooler thing as thats what we have here at work. This gizzmo takes in normal mains water and filters it, simple and nice.

Though nothing wrong with normal tap water IMO. I certainly wouldnt waste money on bottled water.

Next I'll be hearing "WHO BREATHES AIR FROM THE ATMOSPHERE AND WHO USES THEIR OWN FILTERED AIR TANK SUPPLY"

Bottled mineral water is a con,Anyways it was originally sold as an accompaniment to food Like when perrier came out all those years ago plus was very expensive, Apparently mineral water is only beneficial when consumed with food as it needs saturated fat to absorb the minerals,So i tend to only drink it with food and drink tap water in between.

I think th real worry is that they are sitting in plastic bottles and this can eventually effect the water, which what has lead so investagations (well the ones that i have read), into discovering that is why they have a use by date on them.
Plus theirs som many terms which all mean different things ill try and remember some but i could be wrong
Pure Water-this meant that the water you get from a tap has just beenm filtered, thats it.
Spring water-just as it says really water that comes from the ground.
Filtered water, usually water that has been treated with filters and maybe some chemicals.
    Dansani-likely to give you caner.
    you get the idea.
Also on a national test even through water varied in taste from city to city, the purity level never fell below 98%, which is bloody good i thought!

tap water contains less bacteria than bottled water but tap water contains a lot of led, chlorines and other chemicals that the water industry passes throught it every day. the type of filter system im abt to launch onto the world will remove all of the above and bacteria bulid up leaving you with pure drinkable h20 it will also remove nasty smells that some people find from their tap water.

As for the kidney stones some countries do not filter their water to UK standards and therefore hold much higher levels of minerals and natural occuring chemicals in spring waters. Therfore if consumed in large doesages then there may underlie some evidence of cousning kidney stones due to the build up of minerals consumed ed...hardly unlikely to happen in the UK due to the vigurous testing regimes companies addopt.

    more bottled water.

but i stock up each week on it from asda cos its like 19p for 2 litres
i dont like paying £1 a bottle in the shops for like 1/4 of the amount.
