There is a good technique you basically do two short breaths in and two breaths out and every ten steps take a deeper one. so like this

in in out out in in out out (time it with your steps) then when u do about 10 steps or watever take a deeper one

in in out out in in out out in in out out deeeeeeeep in in out out in in out out etc

This realy improved my running although hard to explain over txt trying my best bro haha

I don't think there is much of a technique to it, it's more getting in a regular rhythum and sticking to it. Breathing is an unvoluntary thing and you should have to think about it really, but when breathing so hard you can't help but think about it ;) Sometimes counting in your head helps take your mind off the breathing as your more interested in what number comes next :)

Maybe that will help, it has worked for me,

I find that when I get a stitch using this in thru the nose out thru the mouth technique helps stop it.
