A couple of nights with decent sleep had me feeling a little groggy this morning. So much so today’s huge back & chest session was met with some trepidation.

Day 7: (Back/Chest) Mon 14/01/19 0815-0940hrs
Cut Day #64

Pullups: (5 sets) -50kg x5, -25kg x5, BW +2.5kg x10, x8, x6, x6, x5 = 35 (+2)
CGBP 4x8: 20kg x5, 40kg x5, 60kg x3, 80kg x2, 100kg x1, 120kg x1, 130kg x2, 120kg x2, x2, 90kg x8, x8, x8, x7 (+110kg volume)
BB Incline Lying Row 4x8: (L5) 60kg x5, 80kg x3, 100kg x2, 115kg x3, 95kg x8, x8, x8, x8 +4 +4 (+2.5kg heavy set, +5 95kg)
Incline DB Bench 4x10: (L4) 32.5kg x10, x10, x10, 30kg x10 (+2.5kg third set)
Standing Cable Low Rows: 4x10 140lbs x10, x10, 130lbs x10, x10 (+10lbs first two sets)
Pec Dec 4x10: (L6 S3) 55kg x10, x10, x10, 50kg x10 (+5kg third set)

Pullups felt hard to start but soon got into the flow. Back a teensy bit niggly but almost better now. Added another two not entirely convincing reps. CGBP decided to work up to 130 today -managed a double but last rep was a grinder. Little more rest here before dropping to 120s, before hitting the work set. Also hit out one plus rep here so a solid volume increase was chalked up. Did manage to tweak my neck in another spot though, but I suspect this was from me trying to nurse the existing injury lol.

Rows added 2.5kg to the heavy set costing me one rep. Work sets solid but really slowing down here and gassing hard, despite the flow of text messages from the missus saying we need to leave early for the kids swim lessons. Apparently they rang and want us to come early to discuss the little one with autism and his lessons. FFS it’s not like they didn’t know we were coming two weeks ago when we booked it! Anyway did a few rest pause sets here smashing out another 5 reps on rows. DB benches feeling confident adding 2.5kg to third set. Really trying to make time now. Added 10lbs to the only the first two sets of low rows, as I was not at all confident I could have kept it up. Pec dec actually felt quite strong managing the weight bump to the third set in full stride. Quick moan at the PT about the unfairness of it all and I was out.

TTT - 1:25hrs

Probably one of the hardest sessions of late and one of the most rewarding. Likely due to the extra sleep of late.

Cheers!

Despite the recent sleeps I can feel accumulative fatigue is starting to take it's toll. Just two weeks to go and then I'm on holiday for a week. Good news though is I am starting to notice the belly shrinking. Definitely within 'flat suck' range that is.

Day 1: (Tri/Shld) Wed 16/01/19 1020-1110hrs
Cut Day #66

Pressdowns 5x10: (straight bar) #11 x5, #14 x5, #16 x10, x10, x9, x8, x8, x3 (+2)
SLRs 5x10: 16kg x10, x10, x10, 15kg x10, x12 (+1kg third set)
Lying DB Triceps Ext 5x10: 15kg x10, x10, x10, 12.5kg x11, x11 (+2 12.5kg)
Single Arm Cable Reverse Flyes 5x10: (L5) #3 x10, x10, #2 x10, x10, x10 (0)

Pressdowns hammered out sets best I could but knew I was fighting a losing battle from set two. Couldn’t bear to accept a one rep loss so added a mini set at the end. SLRs working hard to add 1kg to third set, and even harder to maintain reps. Arms already feeling blasted at this stage. Not confident adding weight to the lying tris so aiming to add a rep or two here. Single cable saw no new reps here as it burned like the fires of hell throughout.

TTT - 50 mins

Not the best sesh. Everything felt like a huge struggle to make a few measily reps.

In other news another great week for the scales hitting 103.1kg (-1.2kg) with a 104.5cm (-0.5cm) waist!

Cheers!

That weight is still ticking down nicely. Shame your holiday is coming up soon as you're making great progress. I know what you mean about being fatigued but your body seems to be primed for fat burning at present.
I quite like cuts that finish naturally by running out of steam rather than stamping on the breaks.

Are you still planning to have a slight diet break then get back on the 6 pack hunting mission?

Cheers mate!

Parents are paying for us to stay in a little villa down south about two hours away. Plenty of food, sun and beach. I think they pay more to have the kids come down TBH -we are just the added baggage lol. But still it will be nice to get away. Just have to bite my tongue occasionally as they seem to have no idea what it's like to be a parent of demon spawn twins.

Thanks bud! Still want to build this to 150 sometime this year.

Cheers matey! Yeah for some reason it just seems to have kicked in heavily without me really making any massive changes. That said the addition of halo and the cessation of the xmas cheer probably colluded there.

The halo and osta will finish a few days after I get back from holiday. TBH I don't like the idea of cutting naturally, not during PCT and certainly not at a rate of 1kg per week! I think I will go back to maintenance for a few months, recover and start laying plans for a test cycle.

So no abs just yet lol. I am determined to stay at 100kg until next cycle though. If I go over 100 I'll drop cals one or two days per week to get back under, without slowing the metabolism.

I just don't think I've got enough muscle on this frame to look decent at this time.

Thanks bud very happy with how it's going right now. Weights have been progressing still aside from yesterday's hiccup, so confident I have the balance right.

Still feeling a little flat and sciatica a little twingey. Back mostly better so that is a plus. Bis and legs. Lets get on with it.

Day 2: (Bis/Calves) Thu 17/01/19 1030-1120hrs
Cut Day #67

Cable Curls 5x10: #5 x5, #8 x5, #10 x10, x10, x10, #9 x10, x10 (+#1 third set)
Single Leg Calf Raises 5x10: BW x11, x11, x11, x10, x9 (+2)
One Arm Lateral Cable Curls 5x10: (L3) #4 x10, x10, x10 #3 x10, x10 (+#1 third set)
Kettlebell Squats: 24kg x20, x20, x20 (+8kg first set, +4kg following sets)
Hip Thrusters: 50kg x10, x10, x10

Cable curls added a plate to the third set demanding considerable work towards the end. Calves aiming to add a rep each set, doing it for three sets but dropped one on the final making a decent +2 reps. Lat cable curls kept the extra plate for the third set. Pushing hard at the end with following reps really burning well. Squats saw a decent increase but perhaps going a touch too low as I noticed a wee flare up in set two. Hip thrusters are back, making my little tushy hurt in just three sets.

TTT - 50mins

Made good time today. Hopefully I can keep it at this mark and retain all the leg work.

Cheers!

Mostly happy with the way things are going right now. The odd so-so session but most are moving up and weight is coming off. All without really being hungry too!

Definitely looking forward to deloading though. Fatigue is getting to me.

Woke up with a pounding headache today which didn’t really let up much in the evening. Probably a result of spending way too much time on computer last night. Still managed 9 hours of sleep though, that's if you minus the calf cramp dance I did part way through again.

Day 3: (Chest) Fri 18/01/19 2205-2250hrs
Cut Day #68

CGBP 5x8: 20kg x5, 40kg x5, 60kg x3, 80kg x2, 90kg x8, x8, x8, x6, x7 (-0)
DB Bench Press 4x10: 37.5kg x10, x10, 35kg x10, x10 (+2.5kg first two sets)
Standing Cable Flyes 4x10: (L4) #8 x10, #7 x10, x10, x10 (-0)

CGBP going strong into the work sets, faltered quickly though dropping two reps on set four. Reset focus and hit out an extra two grinders on final set just breaking even. Considered adding another set but decided to build on DB press instead as I did full sets last week. Added 2.5kg to first two and maintained following sets so very happy there. Cable flyes smashing hard first set. No way I’d have managed a second at that weight. Pushing hard just to match reps.

TTT - 45 mins

Not the greatest sesh but at least I didn’t go backwards. Realised during post-gym shower ive not eaten since 4pm and I forgot my halo dose this arvo so this probably contributed. Rectified straight after.

Cheers.
