bulk and a cut in 8weeks is gonna be hard as it takes time for the body to adjust to the change in food intake. I'd personally use the time before a hol to cut, then bulk in the winter.

not long enough to make substantial growth and then cut IMO

im not a fan of hoilday cutters anyway

i dont see why you would want to look good for 7-14 days at the risk of your health and body for the over 50 to 51 weeks of the year

NO you didnt but I was asking as I said before about timescales I ask is 8 weeks long enough to bulk and cut? Instead of a witty answer a reoply of no it isnt you need to cut frist then bulk ie: the answer above yours by cliff

no witty answer, i refrained from doing so

if you are suggesting you can bulk and gain muscle mass and strip off gained fat in 8 weeks most people would carry out such schedules for a couple of months a year and do very little for the rest of the time

sustained development, especially growth, and the gaining of quality mass is a long process. minimal effects will be seen in 4 weeks even by a new comer.

bulking? maybe i have misunderstood the meaning of the word in the context.
for me bulking is the increase of mass over a sustained period of time. adding one or two pounds for me is not bulking, anything over than this amount in 4 weeks would simply be fat for the majority of people

then cutting for 4 weeks? cutting away the fat put on in the 4 weeks of bulking to leave a minimal amount of muscle increase, a 4 week cut would also jepordise any muscle gained in the mini bulk prior to the calorie reduction

so at the end of the day it comes down to what you call a 'bulk'

i would say a quick fix 4 weeker would be something promoted by mens health (which IMO devalues the hard work of those who go months/years of stacking in the food and training hard) and yields minimal results

for myself, i have bulked for nearly 1 year now and gained 48lbs appx, not all muscle but a faair size of mass. that to me is a bulk

i have not been witty in my response, i have simply pointed out that 2 months is hardly an acceptable time frame for you to stimulate adequate growth to lable it a bulk

if you want to be more toned, defined and gain a bit of muscle then you need to bulk up a good 20lbs first so you have some muscle to tone and define. Then begin a cut.

8 weeks is not long enough to bulk and cut. I'd personally bulk until the holiday with lots of clean food to give you a calorie surplus so you can gain a good amount of mass with minimal fat gain.

it won't help at all unless your basic core diet is on the money as well as training, rest etc etc.

    whole diet mate.

put the basics in place first.

Well I think ive got my diet and training program sorted, I am currently having WHEY80 shall I stick with that? Thought the other mix would be good with the creatine etc. I train 3 times a week cardio on off days, consume approx 200g Protein a day I weigh 155 pounds
