Bulking Cycle - Week 7 Update

Ok, here we go. It's summer, it's hot and I have decided to go on a bulking cycle. WTF? [:0]

Well the first reason is that my GF and I have decided to return to Australia in August/September. I am not as big as I want to be (LOL) so am going to try and pack on some size before leaving.

Second reason is that I have a little stash of AAS that I cannot take back with me and therefore needs to be used up before I go. (And no...you can't have it!)

Final reason is that I have been cutting for 8 weeks since finishing my last cycle. The last 5 weeks have been 1 week DNP (200mg low dose), 1 week Clen, 1 week DNP (200mg low dose), 1 week Clen and 1 week DNP (200mg low dose). Had last DNP cap on June 10. I have lost a total of 26 pounds in the 8 weeks since finishing last cycle. I now feel smaller than a small thing and I don't like it! [V]

I look way better in the mirror now (well except for that ugly mug, LOL), BF is closer to 10% than 20% and I am as lean as I have been in years. I was never the strongest of fellows, I am old and train for size, but I have lost strength during this cutting phase also.

So I am now small and weak and must fix this before hitting the beaches back in Oz. Oh yeah and after all this cutting, I want to eat, fcuk me I want to eat! [:p]

I have some good quality current pics but they are sitting in my camera on a 36 exp roll (at number 10) so will post them up when I get them developed. Don't hold your breath.

Here is an image from my dodgy webcam taken at the end of last cycle and another as of yesterday. Sorry about the quality but you can vaguely make out my physique.

At the end of last cycle I was 220 lbs at around 16% BF. I am 37 years old, 5'10" and stats at that time were:

Waist 38"
Chest 48"
Neck 17.75"
Arm 16"L/16.5"R
Thigh 25.5"
Calf 16.25"

As of yesterday stats are:

Weight 194 lbs
Waist 35.5"
Chest 46.5"
Neck 16.75"
Arm 15.5"L/16"R
Thigh 24.25"
Calf 15.5"

I am guessing my BF is around 11% at the moment but haven't got the foggiest to be honest. Someone care to make a guesstimate? I hope most of what I lost was fat but some measurements have taken a dive so I suppose I have lost some muscle along the way too.

Not sure how much smaller I can get my waist. I seem to have grown some large obliques in the last year. I blame the squats and deadlifts!

So to the business end. My cycle is based around the gear I have and need to use up. I have limited time so am only going to run injectables for 6 weeks and an extra 2 weeks of oral winny. Taking Winny tabs or Clomid on the plane to Oz is do-able but amps and syringes are not. Oz customs are such mean fellows.

To this end I am going against the better advice of Bigfella et al and using up Dbol to kickstart plus frontloading the Test and EQ. I need to get the levels of those longer esters up and running quickly. I am using Tren for the first time this cycle and have Clomid, Nolva amd Proviron to hand. Pregnyl as well in case my boys get lost along the way!

Cycle is:

Wk 1-4 Dbol 30mg ED
Wk 1-2 Test Enth 1000mg
Wk 3-6 Test Enth 750mg
Wk 1-6 Tren 75mg EOD
Wk 1-2 EQ 1000mg
Wk 3-5 EQ 600mg
Wk 6 EQ 200mg
Wk 5-8 Winny 50mg ED

I work out at home which will in some way explain the exercises in my routine as I have limited equipment. 12 rep sets are warmups, all others to failure.

Routine is:

Diet is starting around 4000 cals in week 1. Will adjust up as my appetite increases and if gains aren't materializing.

Vitamin B5 5g (TMOF)
Vitamin C 1000mg (H&B)

Righto, that's the setup now for the execution.

Started yesterday with 500mg Test + 600mg EQ + 75mg Tren. 3ml in my right butt cheek, 2ml in my left delt and 1ml in my left tricep. I like to share it around.

Time to get nasty, lift intense and stuff my little face 'til it bursts.

    Anyway, I've seen your pict on X-TREME MUSCLE and you looked heavier.
    You looked bigger than me anyhow...I'm 227, but 6'2" Good Luck with it!

    Yep, gonna hit it hard from the word go due to shortness of the cycle.

    Living in Tottenham now. GF bought a house up here. We used to live in Shepherds Bush though. LOL.

    Going home ain't as easy as it seems. Home is Adelaide but there ain't much work there so it's probably gonna be Sydney. Hopefully they've got some work for an Oracle database developer.

    This means I go back to Adelaide, catch up with family and friends, get my stuff out of storage and track over to Sydney. I have no job there, no house there, no friends there, it's start all over time again and I ain't exactly looking forward to it to be honest. To top it all off I am attempting to take back my English GF as my de facto spouse and get her a visa. The red-tape involved is a frigging nightmare. We have been together 8 years now but these feckers assume it's a sham and it's up to you to prove otherwise. It may take 6 months to jump through all the hurdles they are gonna throw at us.

    ahh yeah Adelaide is a bit of dive lol! I spent 3 months there when i was a RAAF recruit! LOVELY Elizabeth!! Though i did like that area down by the ocean glenelge (spelling??)

    I'm a sydney lad originally, when it gets time to get there i can get u in contact with some good blokes down there, good gym & source :)

    Hello mate nice cycle,tbh i love hitting it hard and then getting off after 6-8wks.

    Why not take it a stage further and run 40-50mg d.bol for 4 wks instead.

    All my gains are in the 6wk period anyway,after that i find it extremely hard to gain.


    TBH mate i would change your bicep workout if it where me,i would do less exercises with more sets

    ie

    barbell curl (2 warm-ups) 3x6-8 working
    Incline alternating curls/hammer curls 3x6
    preacher/concentration curl 3x 8-12 done with mega mind muscle connection lol

    just a thought mate.

    My arms grew best with just heavy curls and maybe a few sets of hammers,honestly.

    Cheers lads. I will take any and all advice on getting these damn biceps to grow. Mine grow at a snails pace, godammit! [V]

    I used to just do barbell curls and incline DB curls. I have swapped to the routine I stated above 2 months ago but have been cutting ever since so cannot tell if the routine is good or bad. Now that I am bulking I will see how things progress. I am also bad at getting stuck in a rut and doing the same routine week on week so I will take your routine Red and alternate it each week with mine. That way I get some variety at least.

    The only reason for the Dbol @ 30mg Red is that I am using up leftovers. I had 162 tabs, so could get 27 days @ 30mg out of it.
    If I up the dose to 40mg then I can only get 3 weeks out of the Dbol.
    What do you reckon, higher dose for shorter or lower dose for longer?

    Week 1 Update

    A good start to this cycle with a 1 stone (14 lb) increase in weight. Coming off the end of a DNP cycle and starting up with the AAS has seen a nice rebound in weight and fullness. Bit of water retention as always with the Dbol but not hindering too much yet.

    Appetite is really good. Usually Dbol kills my appetite but the EQ must be working it's magic. I am getting 4500 - 5000 cals per day and still could eat more. I am trying to keep the diet under control in the first week or two to prevent fat coming on too quickly. The body needs a little time to adjust from the 2000 - 2500 cals I was eating whilst cutting in the previous 2 months.

    Acne is not a problem so far. Last cycle I used EQ and had spots straight away, mainly on shoulders and back. I am trying the Vit B5 powder at 5g per day and there isn't a spot to be seen yet.

    Strength was up in first week. No PBs or anything but, for example, I had lost 15kg off my deadlift while cutting for 8 weeks and this week I got 10kg back. Hopefully we can regain strength and any muscle lost during the first couple of weeks and then break into new territory after that.

    Only side worth mentioning is some crazy pins and needles in my right arm. Sometimes I get this when I sleep on my arm but now I get it every night. In fact, I now get it during the day a bit too. Don't know what this is all about.

    Stick to the 30mg for the 4 wks or put your hand in your pocket cheap skate and buy more d.bol lol

    As for bicep mass nothing works better than heavy barbell curls,the mass might'nt be pretty but it is effective.

    Get big,big guns first then start to worry about shape,definition etc later.

    Week 2 Update

    After the initial weight explosion in week 1 (mainly water from the Dbol and DNP rebound) this week has been at a more steady pace with a 3 pound increase in weight.

    Appetite is still good, I am getting 4500 - 5000 cals per day. Roughly 400g Protein, 450g Carb, 120g Fat.

    Acne is still not a problem. I am very impressed with the Vit B5 powder. The GF brought back loads of chocolate from Belgium and I have been eating my fair share but still no spots and if anything flares up the pimples on me then it's chocolate.

    Strength is rising nicely. I was up in all exercises. I have now regained the max weight I was squatting and deadlifting before cutting. More significantly, I managed to add 10kg to my Bent Over Row. I hadn't lost much strength on this exercise but I never really forge ahead on it either. In fact I have been stuck on the same weight for months. This is excellent and my back really feels great at the moment, feels strong, hard and pumped.

    Size increases in most body parts this week (including waistline [:I]) and finally an increase in arm size...wahoo!!

    Well after 4 days of sanding/painting the kitchen I realised where those damn crazy pins and needles in my right arm were coming from. They have settled down since stopping that madness.

    Only other side now is the old fella has right sprung into life. The 2 weeks of frontloading are over and while I never have a problem in that area, the weekend saw the onset of those spontaneous evil thoughts that cause a stir down below. I was just walking along to the tube when all of a sudden I had this mental image of Mrs Hentoz (my English teacher from high school) that I had bent over a desk. I haven't thought of this woman for over 20 years so Christ knows where that one came from. LOL. It got me juices going though. The joys of testosterone!

    lol i knew all that gear your taking would do it's trick, you look significantly bigger in 2 weeks :) probably trying to give it a bit more in your current photo's though ain't ya ;) Your chest is the same size as mine! But i have a good inch over you on the bi's :)

    LOL, I am crap at posing. No tricks of the camera attempted at all just my amateurish attempt at using this stupid webcam. I take a bunch of pics with the motion detector setting and just pick the one that is most in focus and has me looking less dorkish. [:I][:o)]

    In the first photo (16/06/2003) I picked the one that showed my definition the best as I wanted to show me at my best after cutting.

    The ones after I am more flexed and trying to be as big as I can be. I'll do my best to keep roughly the same pose/position for the rest of the cycle.

    Week 3 Update

    Nice weight increase again this week, up 6 lbs. More water from the Test and Dbol too as the lower back is starting to hurt a little. Walking to the butchers is becoming a problem, LOL. I feel jacked this week, blood levels are peaking and I feel great. I've got one big body pump going on. [:p]

    Appetite was terrible this week. I upped the Dbol from 30mg to 40mg ED as I wanted to finish the Dbol a few days earlier than planned. This is because I am heading down to Swannage next weekend to catch up with some friends I haven't seen in ages and will be drinking fairly heavily. The bloat is also getting nasty so the Dbol has to go ASAP. Unfortunately I think the extra dose killed my appetite big time. I still felt hungry but as soon as I started eating I felt full. I drank a lot more whey protein and ate a lot of high calorie crap just to get the calories in. Vegetables were hardly seen this week (don't tell anyone).

    Acne is still not a problem. Did get a couple of spots this week but nothing really when I think of the amount of oil I am injecting, amount of chocolate, crisps, peanuts being eaten, etc. Vit B5 rocks!

    Strength still rising. Added 5kg to most exercises and had no problems. Lower back is well pumped during squats and deads though. Quite painful and I had a little lay on the floor for some back stretches between each set.

    I added in Proviron @ 25mg ED from this week. I bought enough to run at this dose from week 3 until second week of Clomid. I wanted to see how my body reacted to the higher doses of this cycle before adding in any anti-e so didn't run from the outset. I'm also keeping this dose small as just looking to free up more available Test in the bloodstream and keep estrogen under check a little.

    Right nipple got very tender during the week which I put down to the increased Dbol dose. I started 20mg Nolva ED and will run until the Dbol is finished. This should help a little with the water retention too. Nipple feels better already and I will stop the Dbol and Nolva in 2 more days.

    LMAO. I reckon my cheeks are growing faster than my biceps now. Definitely starting to look like a chipmunk again. I'm still pushing towards 250, another 30 lbs of water retention and I'll have it. See you at the Big Mofo club.
