Bulking - catching breath

Hi everyone. Ive been putting on weight for about 4 months now. Gained 10 - 12 pounds so it's been nice and steady. However im finding myself struggling to catch my breath lately. I could just be sitting down and all of a sudden im yawning and breathing quite deeply to get a breath. Is it time for a small cut? Thing is ive only gained a bit of weight so i feel if i cut i could end up back where i started. Ps im 6ft and only 11 stone 6. Thanks for any help

I dont any official cardio but i walk alot... 13 hour shifts in a hospital. Probably walk miles in a day.... You think maybe i should throw in some actual sessions on my exercise bike/clothes rack?

Can't do any harm I suppose. Always good to keep active and get your lungs working! Just remember if you're trying to bulk/gain weight you'll obviously have to eat a bit more due to calories burned from the extra exercise.

I remember when I was trying to bulk up a few years ago and just did lifting with no cardio etc. I got out of breath really quickly. I do mainly muay thai now so lots of cardio and then 3 or 4 weight sessions a week. Feel much better now fitness wise but obviously its not as easy to put on size due to the number of calories I burn.

You can always throw in a few HIIT sessions a week if you feel you might need them. Quick and effective for fitness.
