Buying Spin Bike

Am gonna get a spin bike as i am tired of traveling 30mins to the gym in the morning to do my cardio. I've read TT's article and its very informative Have phoned up all my local gyms and none of them have any left...

Basicly just wanted to know some ppl's experiences. Would u recommend looking at the bikes or can i trust ppl on ebay?

There is a guy on ebay that sells the Lamonds and Schwins etc, they are all very good condition IMO [been there to pickup 2] You may have seen my pics and post on TT's thread of my Lamond2.

Is that one any good? Seems a bit plasticy to me... But it is cheap...

Well I don't know, 2 reviews so far saying 5*'s.

It looks like strong metal design so will weigh a tonne! The only plastic thing about it is the pedals, bottle and holder etc. The only thing you ain't getting is a branded name but who care about that? It looks more or less the exact same construction as my Carl Lewis bike, main difference being I got extra handles so I can rest my elbows on when pedaling, but I rarely rest on them.

If I were to buy again, I defo would've bought the ebuyer one and saved myself a few quid.

P.S. It also has a max user weight of 18stone, so providing you aint above that, it will suffice

IMO I'd get a commercial one. It will last forever - wont budge when your giving it some, very adjustable, and my lamond feels like I'm riding a real bike - very good.
