Buying/ buying with bitcoin

I want to buy something from somewhere that only accepts bitcoin, but the price is in GBP/$ . rather than bitcoins, so how do I know how much it is in bitcoins being as X amount of bitcoin cost different amounts depending on where you buy them.

for example, using Bitbargain I can type in that I want to spend £84 ( the price of my item ) and that quotes me 0.037537 bitcoins. But how do I know 0.o37537 bitcoins is enough for the product and equal to £84 ??

1 BTC is about £2030 so just doing a currency conversion will give you the answer  84/2030 is about 0.04 , so yeah sounds about right but maybe a bit low

Depends where you buy from, I'll almost go out my way and pay more to not use Bitcoin, all seems a bit too confusing for me!

I tried because I was really confused too, but the only places that had ephedrine ( on its own, not T5s ) too all wanted bitcoin only

This bitcoin stuff is way over my head. I thought the point of it was that it was anonymous. Only when I looked into it it didn't seem to be particularly anonymous.

It's only a big deal if you make it a big deal.

it is and it isnt , everything can be traced to some degree , but if someone didn't want to declare the earnings to avoid tax then bitcoin is perfect , defo cuts out a lot of vultures , hide yourself well enough though through virtual boxes ad proxies and you can make it very hard to trace

But from what I gather to get your foot on the ladder of bitcoin you have to use bank transfer or some sort of credit card. There doesn't seem to be anyway to simply go somewhere like a newsagents and buy some bitcoin with cash. Like some sort of bitcoin voucher which would be genuinely anonymous.

There are a few ( very rare ) bitcoin ATMs where I think you can buy them with cash. If it really takes off it might get better. Its such changing market though. 10 bitcoin would have been £100 odd a few years ago, now its a couple grand for 1. Probably worth investing in for anyone with the spare cash, and guts to risk it

You must remember it is a fiat currency which is backed by nothing. All fiat currencies have a nasty habit of failing sooner or later.

Chasing the price isn't investing, it's pure speculation

been trying to explain this to a few new bitcoin speculators , the problem is that its survived 100+ crashes and still bounces back , agree with everything yuo say but there is something slightly different about the blockchain.

There are some newsagents that will let you buy money orders that you can then transfer into crypto-currency through broker sites. These sites tend to get shut down as they aren't obviously fussy about anti money laundering legislation. Obv if you have an account with them of some sort your money is lost and you are not covered by FSCS.

Essentially anonymous as no law enforcement gives enough of a **** to pursue for £100 worth of nolva in all likelihood I would have thought. There be be a few unlucky souls no doubt in places like the states who end up in Leavenworth though

Green Address Wallet but to be honest the whole thing is driving me mad.

You have to type a sentence to get in it of jumbled words. as for the bit coins themselves its been a mission to say the least.

yeah the whole thing was far less than easy , i think i stumbled across getting mine , as for cashing them in , had to convert from btc to linden dollars and then from linden dollars to € so it cost me about 30% so it isnt a free alternative to banking ! i think ill stick with metals
