CARDIO Vs Weights

Hello MT

Any advice, or comments are much appreciated.

I have been doing cardio 5 x per wk. normally split around 20-25min on the cross trainer and 10-15min on the cycle bike. SOmetimes I do the cross trainer first then my weights followed then by the cycle bike to warm down.

Total calories burned during cardio 450

I do weights 3 nights per week, I am using pinks, I was debating using EPH also. I want to retain my muscle and if posible, build on it. But ideally I am trying to pull back on my fat content. even though I look very bulky now finally, I have a lot of fat to lose.

Is the cardio enough?

Does any know an average amount calories burned during a 45 min weights session, medium to high intensity.

With my weights, I do push and pull days with legs on the 3rd day.

My diet is quite good:

7.30am - coco pops + protein shake (1 scoop, 200ml milk)
10.30am - 2 sandwichs (either, chicken, tuna or turkey + salad)+ SHAKE
13.30PM - 2 sandwichs + yogurt + shake
16.30pm - 2 sandwichs + shake
19.30pm - evening meal (varied, lean mince beef with pasta, chicken and rice or turkey with boiled potatoes and salad, mostley the salad option)

does this all look ok guys, should I be able lose some good fat with this.

I don't think the read outs on them machines are that accurate, ther amount of calories depends on lots of things not just your heart rate as you need to take into account muscle mass as muscle burns more calories than fat. Diet looks pretty clean and the cardio should be enough. What does your weights routine look like?
Iam not sure what pinks are so i can't comment on them, if your thinking of taking eph you should stack it with caffeine and aspirin or by an off the shelf eca stack.

    1. The cardio looks good although running is better for burning cals. What is your heart rate when you do cardio?

    2. Drop the coco pops, and replace with oatmeal.

    3. Split your carbs 1/3 for breakfast, 1/3 pre-workout, and 1/3 post workout. Don't eat any other carbs, and make sure the breakfast carbs are low GI (ie oatmeal. skim milk, or granary bread).

    4. Add some fruit to your diet (1 apple a day is good).

    5. Add some EFA's in there. 1 teaspoon of flax seed oil, and a few almonds is about the best.

    6. Cottage cheese before bed is highly recommended.

    Good job Pop !

Im told we should seperate the weights and cardio by as many hours possible...pref a different day so im told anyway.

Hmm Dbol...Im not really sure how this affects burning fat and such because obviously you will be bloated...maybe something like winny or anavar might be better along with an eca stack? [one again i dont know, so someone else would need to confirm that].

Maybe just 3 shakes a day, but maybe not when ur eating ur sarny as you should be eating the max ammount of protein your body can use in one sitting...then have a shake an hour or so later?

I was going to say your weights routine is appalling Browners! Meant nicely, I might add. Fortunately Pop has suggested a similar routine to the one I had in mind for you. Good Luck.

P.S. The weight training will aid your weight loss as it will increase your muscle mass and therefore increse your metabolism.

pop, although that is a good training regime for bulking, he is wanting to lose fat by the sound of it, and the push pull legs routine is not the best for that, its more of a bulk. One that has worked for me, is OVT, a lot will call it overtraining, but its works for some. Do a search in here or on google. Good luck.

in terms of fat burning, the type of steroid does not make a difference. the AAS will however help to maintain lean mass. Personally I would not use dbol, with an ECA stack, as ECA can be liver toxic, like the Dbol, I'd go for a basic Test only cycle, no need to get fancy. It does depend on if you want to jab yourself however.
