CLA - Conjugated linoic acid?

Ive researched it a fair bit in the forums search option, but basicly just want to know:

Am I wasting my time and money by taking this?

Or is it a decent investment as a long term supplement?

It's said to help maintain(or even build?) muscle mass whilst helping you lose bodyfat.

From my own experience of taking it for quite a long time,it did nothing that i couldn't have done without it.

I've used it religiously for a few months now. I'm looking better than I've ever done when dieted down and I'm 3lb heavier than my avatar photo and looking tighter. I will also add that I have been using other supplements though so it may not be due to that alone!

So it could be effective when stacked with other products and used with good diet and good training. But is it worth its expensive price? The maximuscle one is about twenty quid and its 13 pound for Dietrim from Boots.

I noticed alot of people saying this when I searched it on the forum. However I noticed that Maximuscle put CLA in their Progain flapjacks so that got me thinking that maybe it had some kind of effect.

    Fair enough.

But why does every company sell CLA including myprotein, CNP, Met-rx and others? Is it all just marketing? Could it be such a useless product even though everyone sells it?

what's stopping you from selling it then?  that's why it is available everywhere

I'm also contemplating it, synergistically with Green Tea ext %98 egcc as I've read some on it.

CLA, Green tea, Tribulus Terrestis, all seem to be supps that are well known and popular yet most people say they do nothing. Its as if the companies are tricking people into buying them.

There are studies that show benefits, plenty that show no benefit or no discernable benefit.

Remeber there are studies that show whey protein postworkout has no benefit on hypertrophy.... But we all drink whey.

It's jsut a case of we appraoch these things scientifically really, what you beleive based on your reasearch and what you choose to believe.

Looks liek you do some research before you buy things, a lot of people don't....
