Caffeine dose before workout

Some people take caffeine to give them a boost before weights, or more commonly, cardio.

How many mgs is an effective dose for this purpose?

    I've just upped from 400mg to 600mg.

600mg used to make me nauseous and faint but I've tolerated in it now.

I had 200mg recently and felt jittery after it.

I think as with most peds - start low and work up. Too much caffeine can make you feel quite grim.

I have a high tolerance.  200mg does pretty much nothing for me.

Tried 200mg and it was great. Wouldn't have wanted much more than that.

400-600mg? why do you need to take so much tubbyman?

Also, how regularly do people use it?

I use it every day and drink coffee aswell so my body is probably very tolerant to it - what you get from 200mg is probably what I get from 600mg

200mg - it doesnt kick me but used it as train after work.

anything more and i find it difficult to sleep. ill still feel tired but getting to actual sleep just takes a bit longer.

Hazard a touch of narcissism without shame.

Do you use it every day stone?

I train after work too but I don't want to get into a habit where I feel I can't train without it.

200mg is usually enough for me.

I find it is important to have some time off from it. I don't take it for more than a month without having a week or so off.

I use 400mg's pre-workout, three times a week. I do have quite a tolerance to caffeine though.

Alot of pre-workout supps have around 300g's of caffeine in them, along with loads of other ingredients, don't see an issue with 300-400g's myself.
