RE: Calf raises
Calves are used everyday so people often say they need more of a shock in order to grow. I wouldnt go that heavy on them as full range of motion is the most important aspect for full calve deveolpment and you may loose this if you go too heavy. I pick a weight I can manage 12-15 reps for and do 3 sets of standing and also seated. Get a good stretch at the bottom of the movement and a full peak at the top where you are as far on your tip toes as you can.
