Creapure is just a brand of raw creatine mono. It's no different to any other mono.

That isn't strictly true. Even though Creapure is just the trademarked name of Degussa's Creatine Monohydrate, it is guaranteed to be minimum 99.95% pure, and typically 99.99%. Other "normal" creatine monohydrate is very unlikely to be of such quality. Degussa put a lot of research into the development of their Creapure to ensure it's quality and effectiveness and use a patented process to manufacture the product free of impurities and contaminants.

Saying that, as with all creatine monohydrate, bloating is likely to occur due to how the product works. This shouldn't be a major problem though and you would still hopefully see some results from taking it.

I would give it a go for a month or so and see whether you feel it has had much effect (some people are non-responders to monohydrate). If not perhaps try Creatine Ethyl Ester as many users find this very effective.

    awww splitting hairs here :)

At the end of the day it's still creatine mono, it performs the same function, etc etc. Manufacturer claims don't make it a different *product*..... Regardless of R&D done by Ford and Holden, what comes out of both factories is still a car :)

Their claims for their creatine was never that it worked better, was more potent and that you'd add more muscle. It was always that they tested and retested and used better processing so that there was less likely to be any contaminents than before. Even that is now facile as we (the industry) have improved the processing methods. I'm willing to bet that what ever differences there were are far fewer now.

Ergo the analogy between a specially made sports car and one used by 70's boy racers (I think me dad may have had one ha ha) doesn't apply. Now if you were talking about valeting or how clean each car was you'd have scored a goal.
