Can finally get my Home Gym! - Didnt want to start a new a Thread.

I am, after a lot of waiting, going to buy various pieces of equipment to make up my own Home Training system.

Am going to purchase things such as, Power Rack, Bench, 235kg Oly Weights and Barbell and then various accesories to go with the above.

For all those people who have equipment at home, how would you rate this Power Rack?

In the product description it doesnt say how much weight it can handle, just wondered if anyone can help me?

Do you think that is the maximum weight it can handle though? 240kg is a hell of a lot of weight to me, but when i can lift more than than i dont want to have to buy a new Power Rack if you catch my drift.

I've got one and it's rated to a 1,000lbs (about 450kg). I paid £175 for it and it's great value for money, if a little light. The only grips are no dips attachment (a couple of scaffold poles laid across the catcher bars works OK) and not enough holes!

Look like this is the one i will be getting then, seems very good value for money IMO.

Was also thinking about setting up a dipping station, might aswell go for one of them too.

The cheapest way to go with dumbells is to buy a pile of 1" 5kg plates and a pair of 14" and 18" DB handles. You can get a full DB set up to 50kg/hand for around £100. Less storage space too.
