Can you have all your diets veg in drink form once a week?

Not sure how to word the title :)

Quick version: Can you have a veg smoothie larger amount each week to get all your veg in rather than daily smaller amounts?

       Longer:

But basically I have a smoothie every day, "juicing" i think the term for it is.

So for breakfast i throw oats yogurt and literally a little piece of most common veg and fruit into the blender, thats how i get my whey protein in that shake too.  So it basically works out that I never have to manually eat fruit or veg on a plate with meat and spuds, cause i have the equivelant of that normal amount in a piece of each every day.

But this takes alof of time to do each day, as well as bagging and buying/finding all the various fruits and veg.

What i'm wanting to know is can once a week I have a "super health smoothie"  like some people do, it might be more like the principle of detoxing or conventional health drinks that arent really daily but still frequent.

So if I have a big veg smoothie  once a week as well as the other stuff in them like yogurt/berries  is that just as good?

(ill still have oats and whey blend with a tiny bit of water as breakfast daily, basically the overall thing is a mouthfull)

(im starting to think about buying innocent smoothies for the fruit side of it, as its very fast and VERY nice and 100% fruit just as im doing now)

So basically the way I'm thinking of doing it is:

. Oats/whey in bit of water for breakfast, + some Innocent smoothie.     (have grapes/berries/nuts for bfast too)

. Once a week have a huge Veg/yogurt/odd bits of fruit i miss out from innocents,   drink that gradually through the day the 7x amount instead of water so not overloading on liquid.     I also wont add any extra water as with the 7x yogurt/and natural fruit juices that'll be enough liquid.

Is this thinking viable?

So is once a week not too much time passed before taking in those good things from veg and whatnot that i have been daily, since im having the same quantity weekly just on the 7th day rather than split by 7.

Time and effort im sure everyone factors in and maybe im thinking of it wrong and its the same goodness too, i mean 7 days isnt like 30 days or anything:)

Thanks for any help hope its understandable what im asking lol

Where do you come up with all these ideas? Just eat vegetables every day, throughout the day. You can get greens powders if you find it that difficult.

You drink 7 days worth of fruit and veg in one hit and you'll be on the toilet for the rest of the day!

Yes definitely break it up a bit. It takes 5 minutes to blend and wash your blend ready for the next day which yo ucan keep in your fridge.

    Just hate eating veg manually:)

Im basically asking if I have a veg smoothie once a week  is the just the same as having the same veg smoothie just less quantity daily?     So like a 'health drink'   7 times the amount once a week throughout the day consume it is that just the same, im basically asking about how food is consumed and absorbed does it matter if you eat alot of veg once a week, or tiny bits through the week is there a huge difference :)

Would love the time saved a day and bagging all sorts of frozen veg lol

I kept thinking the OP's post had ended what with those big gaps

Never had a veg smoothie and I think it would taste horrible, but that's just my sweet tooth.

No, I don't see why a big pile of mixed veg on a plate is a problem. You don't need to peel anything, frozen veg cooked for just 20 minutes in a pan is quick enough.

"Manually eating veg" has really tickled me.

I'm actually about to go and literally roll on the floor laughing cause I can't stop! ROFL!

Mate, Blend the veg if you don't like them. Just have some everyday not 3 litres of broccoli smoothie on a Sunday!

No that is not good, too much veg in one day can deplete your body of vital vitamins, just have a days worth once per day.

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

Buy a nutri bullet , blitz em up every morning - job done.

Juicers are crap - you lose all the fibre.

Blitzed juice especially in the fridge should be fine for a few days.

You can even freeze some and defrost when required if you want to save time.
In the summer month you can even have a broccoli ice lolly. yum :)

Maybe you could actually just do a whole week's worth of food in one giant 20,000 calorie smoothie, save on all the bothersome meal prep. Think of all the free time you'd have!

Fruit juice isn't especially good for you on it's own, the goodness from comes from the whole fruit, including the fibre/pulp.

They do have these green powders on the supplement websites but a lot of the ingredients and their sources are suspect I think, and really there is no excuse to not eat enough fruit and veg, it is quite cheap.

I think you should try blending a weeks worth of fruit and veg into one shake and tell me how it could not be at least 3 litres of liquid. Have fun drinking that
