reduce the toast to 1 slice at breakfast with low fat spread (I like Marmite!) and cut it out completely after that.

Up your protein intake - maybe add some scrambled egg whites to your breakfast.

Make your omlettes - 1 whole egg plus 5 whites.

Have potatoes baked, with no butter on.

Snacks, fruit and yogurt fine as long as it is lo fat yog. Try a small tin tuna or a tub of cottage cheese.

Remember not to go more than 3 hours between meals as you will get too hungry and end up binging on toast!

Oh, you need to spread your meals out more, 6 small meals a day is optimum.

Hi Mrs sideeffectwhu, welcome to MT......get your own log in then we can talk to the real you

If you're doing Slimming World then it looks to me like you're using too many of your options. There again I think they have changed the diet so I may be wrong. I personally find too much bread stops me losing weight. I used to do SW before I got back into doing weights again and then found that the diet just didn't suit. I'm now at the weight that I set as my target during my time at SW (and never achieved it then), I maintain it pretty well now. What annoys me about these commercial ventures is that they change the diets, SW never changed for years so are they suddenly now saying that is wasn't good enough????? One day macaroni cheese is a free food, the next it's full of sins Confuses the hell out of me and I even went on to run a group myself.....and I'm not going into that

We (in the BB world) follow a diet of little and often. We tend to eat 5-6 small meals a day comprising of good protein, wholesome carbs (often limited as these are very easy to over indulge on), plenty veg, and good oils. We avoid 'sins' but have treat meals every so often. There's no secret to losing weight really and unfortunately there are no short cuts. You just have to sit up and face that facts that the only person who can make a difference is you no matter how much support you get. That's what turned things round for me. You have to want to do it for you and no one else.

You've done fantastic so far so you know you can do it. We all hits plateaus and you just have to work through them and not let them make you give up. Think of what you've done to date not what you haven't done this last week.

Why don't you try something new and get down the gym with your hubbie. Building up muscle will increase your metabolism without evening thinking about diet. You'll not end up like a gorilla, believe you me, it's hard work

I have to agree with what most of what Kitty has said, though in aid to help me loose some weight i actually decided to join the weight watchers programme and so far (touch-wood) its working for me. I lost 3lb the first week, 3 1/2 the 2nd 1/2 last wk and hopefully some-where around the same this week. It does work and its only my determination to be slim and toned thats keeping me motivated, iv simply come to appreciate the fact that me and only me can change the way that i look. Good Luck and Don't give up.
