Can't wake up

I'm 16 and am used to waking up in the morning for school. However since its my summer holidays I can't even FORCE myself to wake up early to eat.

Seriously, I've tried everything, I went to sleep at 8pm once and it still didn't help!

Whats wrong with me? Why can't I wake up at 7:00 in the morning?

Because of waking up late I miss important meals and it really messes up my day :(

First of all don't get too paranoid about the meals. Fit in what you can. Set your alarm and force yourself out of bed when it goes off or ask your Mum to make sure you get up. You will feel pretty tired for that day so maybe make it a none training day. You may then find you want to go to bed sooner and keeping up the alarm waking routine you'll soon get into a new habit

Wow, nice one mate, especially at 16, a kid that age wanting to get up early, at 7am might I add so he can get his protein and what not for the day!

Good on you, Im sure about 80% of school kids are still in bed this time! Either that or just watching daytime TV.

Keep it up fellah, once you hit 18, you should be a big fellah, all the girls will love you lol.

My post doesnt really help though lol.

Set up a device that will wake you up.

Something like an alarm wired to a motor which is then attached to a mousetrap (the board game) type set up that releases a small metal ball rolling down tracks triggering things which causes a domino effect, which is then attached with a string to a cup of water, which is on a hinge positioned above your head. Should do the trick

I have been finding it hard in this heat to get up

Do any of you take a week of from the gym at all? i take a week off every 8 - 10 weeks and it helps me alot. I keep my diet going but instead of the gym i just get to chill that helps me with catching up with sleep and restores my energy levels.

Maybe you could try this see if it helps at all

I think i have sorta gone off the subject here

Leave your curtains open, you'll wake up with the sun around 5 am, you can then have a lay in till 7.

To be honest, I wanna wake up at 7am so I can eat my breakfast + my second meal before i go out/train.

Something like an alarm wired to a motor which is then attached to a mousetrap (the board game) type set up that releases a small metal ball rolling down tracks triggering things which causes a domino effect, which is then attached with a string to a cup of water, which is on a hinge positioned above your head. lol, thanks for that.

Yeah, I think its definately the heat. My face feels like its been through the shredder .

But I think my brothers gonna start waking me up soon since he wakes up early for work. Just gotta wait for him to get back from his holiday ^^. In the meantime I'll just...make a moustrap thingy.

    Get an intrevenous drip

I used to work in a club and wouldnt get out till 3.30 most nights so used to get in and eat then set my alarm for say 8am then get up and have a MRP then get back to bed. You could just do something similar then your combining the brilliance of a lie in with the necessity of eating.

Have a good pint of cold water and all so you dont wake up at your normal time with a mad thirst on like I always do.

    Humph

I tried this one day and woke up burning from the sun beating down on me.

Set an alarm at the other side of the room, so you have to get up out of bed to turn it off. Its what I do and allways works. Hope this helps.

    Thankyouplease

Get some proplus for the mornings.

Try drinking a pint of water(or more) before going to sleep, you should wake up during the night to use the toilet, have a whey/casein shake ready to chug and go back to sleep.
