    Year?

When I get tired and want to stop,
I wonder what my next opponent is doing,
I wonder if he is still working out,
    I visualise him,
When I see him still working,
    I start pushing myself,
    When I see him quit,
    I start pushing myself harder.

    Good points, well made.

Maybe by page 2 of this thread we'll know? Plug's not even checking in on his own post.

Its usually the bushes that go, I think.
I had a fiesta a while back and the sterring was all over the place
    and the bushes had gone.
That was £40 about 6 years ago

How much to get a ball joint repaired on a peaugot 407, anyone any ideas?

Small garage/back street, £10-20 parts and £30 labour. Possibly cheaper..

    Dealer £20-30 parts, £60+ labour.

    Thats an ambitious labour estimate!!
My old college leturer had a small business, 3 or 4 mechanics workin for him and his labour rate was £55 p/h!! And he wasn't short of business either.

Hardly mate, it'll only take 30 mins to do it max and a back st garage will charge for half an hour so make good money doing that...
A dealer will charge you an hour to change a bulb..
Back st garages by me charge £30 an hour anyway so thats why i said maybe cheaper. Brake pads will be fitted for £20 where i go..
Vauxhall main dealer half a mile from work last year was £57+ vat per hour, pug will be similar. The price changes depending where you are. A small garage round here charging £55 an hour labour would go bust...

Let me know where the garage is and he can have all our fleet if he charges that much.

Thats an absolute disgrace.... I take it that was at a main dealer? Id also try and claim the ball joint under warranty as that shouldnt be going in a 2 year old car mate. (unless you have whopping mileage)
