Cardio Query?

Hi guys, just a quick query regarding the best form of cardio for losing weight but fat etc rather than muscle...

There is alot of stuff around stating low steady rate cardio is best for fat loss while I have also read about high intensity cardio is better

What is actually the best for losing fat? as when I go to the gym these days I am in two minds whether to run as fast as I can for as long as I can or have a nice steady jog etc

Cheers

Either SSCV ... ~120-130 bpm for 45-60 mins or HIIT for ~20mins.

Generally SSCV has less of an impact on the legs and CNS though.

30-45 mins post workout and an hour on rest days works for me. Steady state only, all that balls to the wall HIIT stuff just exhausts me so i'll add it in for a week every now and again just to shock my body, usually switch to high rep workouts and barbell complexes for that week as well, lighter weight, higher rep.. gives my body a break from heavy lifting too.

As long as the diet is in order then this should be more than enough to take you wherever it is you need to be.
