Cardio for fitness and stamina

I have re evaluated my goals and am now putting health and fitness before size. I have read that for fatburing about 60-65% is best. When training for fitness, what is a good amount of cardio (cycling) to do and at what heart rate ? At the moment im doing 35-40 minutes at 70% of max hr twice a week.

    For fitness and stamina, a good mix of endurance exercise and anaerobic exercise would be good, and would help.

    HIIT a few times per week with some longer endurance runs on the other days during the week too.
