Cardio, how intensive?

Hi all

Im currently doing 45 mins cardio every morning before breakfast, so far ive just done a moderate run of about 4 miles.

Should I continue to do this or should i walk at a fast pace?

To me it seems obvious that running is better than fast walking, but i keep seeing people posting that they do fast walking instead.

Im not doing weights at the moment due to injury so im just trying to get back into shape as much as i can for now. Im 23 and eat roughly 2000 cals a day from a modified cutting diet from this site by toxic coffee.

My goals? to get fitter and to look better.

thanks for any help you can give.

EDIT: im 75kg and 5'10". I dont really wanna lose weight but id be quite happy to lose some BF before im able to start bulking with weights and a new diet. Im depressingly weedy after an operation.

Running will get you fitter improving your cardio system. You probably see a lot of posts regarding fast walking, as most on here are trying to build muscle and lose fat.

One of the best ways to lose fat and minimise the dangers of a catabolic state, is low intesity excercise such as fast walking.
