Cardio on a bulk?

Does cardio on a bulk help keep fat gain down or just raise metabolism making it harder to gain weight?

It depends what type of cardio that you do with regards to raising the metabolism but any type of cardio will help keep the fat levels down.

I would say that you should always include some sort of cardio even on a bulk unless you are seriously underweight or something.

I always do cardio when on a bulk, lightly at 3 times a week, like swimming 40 lengths. Its good for you and will help keep fat down.

I think you should always do cardio regardless. It will exercise the heart...

i am trying to bulk, but would never think about not doing cardio. im only new at this so pls correct me if im wrong, but surely by training cardiovascularly over a long period of time at 65%ish of hr max,for 45mins, the body hacks into fat stores as its main energy source, so surely fat levels will go down. wont they?
and it maybe easily overlooked by some people, but even if it did nothing for my fat stores, i think having a healthy heart is top priority! it will also do lots for lung capacity allowing you to get more oxygen into the muscles, decreasing rest periods between sets and will help breathing during exercises. or am i chattin sh*t??!!
