Cat question Part 2

I have eventually let our cats outside. Young cat of a year old and a 5 year one. They are fine in the house and really friendly, let them out today and they are kicking off with each other big time. Wailing and crying at each other.

Anyone had any experience with something similar?

Are they both males mate ?
The only thing I can think of is now they are in different surroundings they are sorting out their position in the cat world.

Why did you keep them locked up for so long? Or have you just moved or something?

Is it really vicious and nasty, or just overly boisterous play fighting?

uuuum I am not quite sure mate. The young one has hissed at a few people including me (althought I just grab him and give him a big hug to take away his mascurlinaty)

To be honest I think we may need to get him the chop!!!
    Thanks for the reply
