Cat/Dog Alternative You Choose

If you could choose an animal to be a household pet and it was bred to be totally tame for you what would you choose? Can be anything.

Id choose the Pine Marten a cute little fella looks like it could make a good pet.

Its kinda like a Cat/Ferret/Spider Monkey thing lol

What would you have?

I did mean bengal tiger, a proper tiger, 300kg of tiger, lol.  Alternative would be a polar bear, in fact, fck it!  My choice would be a polar bear.

I really worry about people who hanker after exotic animals as pets. It's just wrong.

These exotic animals in the scenario given are domesticated.

    I have always wanted a macaw/parrot.

Gorgeous animals that make great companions.Trouble is they would probably outlive me and it's a massive commitment taking one on.They live as long as us,or longer.

Because they're meant to be wild and would have a relatively miserable life in a human home.

I had a mini macaw, a hahns macaw.... lovely little bird, full of cheek and mischeif

Unfortunately birds often suffer with respiratory problems, as did mine and he died aged 8... but he was a great pet!
