Cellulitis - Urgent! help! 3 questions

Just my luck, it looks like I have cellulitis in my quad after only my 3rd ever jab!

My questions -

1. Since I had no problems with 1st and 2nd jabs, is it ok to assume that my 10ml vial of deca is safe enough?
And that it's just bad luck, not dodgy UG gear?
Or should I be binning it and stopping the cycle early....

2. When I see the doc on Monday, do I have to tell him I've been injecting steroids?
I don't want that on my medical records.

3. If it is just bad luck not dodgy gear, do I keep injecting whilst on antibiotics?

Thanks chaps

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realised God doesn’t work that way, so I stole
one and prayed for forgiveness.

Reasonable to assume, but the assumption would not be good enough for me. There's chance, however slight, that the vial has become contaminated during or after your 2nd jab. There is also the slight possiblity that the gear has been unsterile from day 1, but your body has dealt with the bacteria without causing you symptoms.

I'm very conservative in these situations and for the price of another vial of deca, bin it imho.

    2. When I see the doc on Monday, do I have to tell him I've been injecting steroids?

Not necessarily. Infection can occur from all manner of causes. I got cellulitis in my foot and leg from athletes foot. Just play dumb.

You can carry on cycle (from a new product vial) if you wish.

As PB and dazc said toss it. If you are worried about what to tell the doctor you can usually play it off for a spider bite. Or play dumb.

Yes it will work anywhere. I have used it personally and I also work in a Trauma Emergency room when not deployed to Iraq. I had a doctor friend that was on cycle with me at the time and he said he could not have come up with a better excuse himself. Basically you are going to get IV antibiotics and possibly oral antibiotics to take with you. It will be in and out unless you have an abscess then you might earn an over night stay...

Why not a tiger bite, would that not be better!?

Festar: You can't plead poverty with 2 cars. That's like a little Kenyan chap pleading poverty with 2 packets of uncle bens rice hidden under his bed.

I haven't made an appt yet, but I fear I may have cellulitis too...or at least some sort of infection/reaction. Not an abcess tho...no head, not excruciating, not localised pain.
It's an area about the size of my hand, down the front of my quad. I'm thinking now I didn't shoot to the side enough, more on the top of the quad...or at least that's where the majority of the gear went. Other jabs have been fine. That was last Monday. For 2 days it was really sore, then it died down slightly, but has remained. Bit of redness and a slight lump an inch or so from the jab site. Ice packs and anti-inflammatories every night.
Really don't want to go to the doc tho, cos she's also a family friend.
My local needle exchange is also in the health centre....would it be worth asking to see a doc there? Or are they likely to just send me to see my gp?
I guess the other option would be a&e, but I'm looking at hours sitting on my hoop.
    Your thoughts guys???

I would think that the doctor would not be able to disclose your private health information to anyone. I would go to the GP. That way they know what is up. While you are there you can ask for blood test for liver enzyme, cholesterol, and any other lab you might need to have a safe cycle.

    Thanks guys, much appreciated.
I'm gonna toss the deca and switch over to some oral winny I have lying around.
Is that ok and safe when I'm gonna be on antibiotics?

i would just tell the doc imo, its legal to buy, posses and use steroids in the UK, its only illegal to sell them. So the doc wont care.

If you're really, really lucky you'll have a doc with an open mind who won't look at you like some heavy crack user. But many of them are just as hard to get to see that most of us take this seriously and with alot of research as the media would be.

Problem for many is that it affects health/life insurance

The doctor won't really care what you've done, but it helps treatment a lot if people are honest. Back in the days when I was working in hospitals, it amazed me how many people turn up with objects stuck places they shouldn't be, and the bullsh*t stories they tell you... really, you don't care, you just want to know so you can treat accordingly.

Update - I tried to tell the doc today it was an insect bite, and he was about to give me some antihistamines or something...
Had to bite the bullet and tell him the truth, really embarassing. He knows me pretty well and was stunned that I'd been using a multi-use vial of gear from a UG lab, he reckons thats about as unsafe as you can get, and that I was more or less asking for trouble. The cellulitis has spread to most of my quad, he gave me amoxicillin in the end.
It'll be single use, pharma grade stuff for me in future guys.
