The government gain so they can tighten the noose around our necks but other than that I don't give a toss about it although it would be good from a history point of view but that isn't why it's being done.

As for us, we didn't receive any form in the post so I ordered one online today.

I don't aim to gain anything from it. I did it to avoid punishment and for the benefit of others

Actually you shouldnt do that..something about that the machine marks it down as " a person of religious beliefs", so in polls poepe that put Jedi are actually not helping.

This anti-census feeling this time round is just bizarre. No-one ever used to have any problem with it, but in the last 10 years it seems it has become fashionable to be suspicious of anything the government does.

Im just bitter about having to take 10 minutes out of my life, to fill in aload of information that A) is none of their business or B) they already know.

The researchers of the future. I know a couple of people who have traced their family trees and have found them extremely useful, plus someone in the future will find it interesting at the least and useful at best to know what percentage of homes had gas / oil / electric / no / central heating in this year compared with ten or twenty years ago. Records are good. I like records

Not done it, not doing it.  Dont see why I have to give my personel information out to anyone.  No doubt it will only be used against us in some way or another.

I'll be interested to see the proportion who tick 'No Religion' this time around. In 2001 it was 14.7%, interesting to see if the books, articles and debates of recent years have had much effect.
