True that! Xx ;) back on prep in August. Better make life easier for myself and not blow up like a balloon completely. I think ignorance was bliss when I signed myself up for 6 shows in my 1st year of competing. 😥

Well that was easier said than done. Eating like a pig. Training hard. Enjoying eating with my family! Must have gained nearly 2 stone! A week of relaxed left then back on prep. Plans next year now include changing to a new pca class of body fitness. Exciting times ahead.

Hi James,
Leica says for the Welsh show. It's a bit daunting since I am actually happy with toned figure, doing routine etc, but I am going for what suits my frame. Hopefully it'll be announced for the Midlands so I can see what the judges are looking for.

What is this new class? 
 
I'm interested because I may come in too lean for PCA Athletic, but don't have the mass for Trained Figure.

Hi GN, that's apparently my problem too. For toned I get a bit too lean on my legs but still fluffy round the middle. I don't have trained fig mass either. You can check this new class criteria on the PCA website. However there has been no formal announcements yet which shows are doing them possibly Midlands? I know Welsh is because Leica organises it but that's not until quite late next year. Maybe ask Ryan (PCA)?

Other news, popped two ribs out of place! (by my scapula). Hurts to sleep, walk anything. Seen physio. Treated with manipulation and acupuncture. So trying my best to work around it.

Thanks I've been checking their website, and no details. Their downloadable criteria is (or was a few weeks ago) out of date.

Thank you I'd searched the document a few times, and missed it. These are the rules I've been told are incorrect and out of date with respect to bikini and shoe regs. I'll wait to see what happens when updated. I'm aiming for the Midlands show, if I have glute striations I'll do Trained.

Well 2 weeks into prep. Good news is I've lost half a stone. Bad news is I'm **** at sticking to the plan. Promising myself I'll be better when Sept starts. Other news is I've started my new company. I've got no idea about the retail trade though. I just know I've got a mega cool product. I've called it meal prep travel. I've patented what I can. I've done the social media thing and also started a you tube channel :)
So I'm pretty busy. Just doing what I can. Coach is pretty pleased with my progress. Cuts are coming through. Apparently it's Obs how much muscle I've put on but I'm pretty naff at critiquing myself. I seem to only see the worse bits.

It's been a while. 2017 has been a roller coaster for me. I have learnt that it's hard to stay lean and it is punishing for my body and my mind to sustain it. I'm back to fatty status now :( 2.5 stone heavier than comp weight. I've also decided to go it alone and have parted amicably with my coach. I intend to compete in May. I know I can be successful prepping myself and I am looking forward to the journey and the control by doing it myself. So Jan 8th is when I will start!!

Arrrgh!!!! So true but so hard. Truth is I'm pretty fed up of being a pudding so I'm setting up my target and even booked in with a psychotherapist to stop me self sabotaging!
 
 
BUT for the past 3 days I've been in pain with a pinched nerve. Back in spasm. I can only just now walk. I haven't been to gym since xmas eve. Luckily seen an osteopath yesterday. Sad times :-(
