Cholesterol!!!!!!!!!!!

So cholesterol is a problem which should be looked out for and monitored right?
Agreed?
But how would you go about monitoring it without repeatedly pestering your GP and looking like a complete meat head?

None as such - although it is a leading risk factor for cardiovascular disease.

I've not actually had it done at Boots, but they always seem to be advertising the service. The test itself is from a blood sample (finger prick probably).

There are also home tests available, although I believe that these give a total cholesterol level and don't differentiate between LDL and HDL.

The EPA & DHA in oily fish is particularly good for this.
