Cholesterol?

I was just wondering how many milligrams of cholesterol is it safe to eat per day because while bulking I find myself eating a lot. How much is ok? I know the daily allowance is 300 mg but that's based on a 2000 calorie diet.

Don't have any figures for you i'm afraid. But I believe that eating a diet high in whole grains and natural protein sources, including oily fish etc as well as good fats from nuts and olive oil will offset any negative effects from dietry cholestrol. A diet high in saturates, hydrogenated fats and processed carbs are likely to have a greater impact on blood lipids and health, than dietry cholestrol. If its a concern for you have bloodwork done by your GP, its free (UK)

What's your intake then? How are your cholesterol levels?

If you're worried about your cholesterol levels then I suggest you take it ease on the trans and saturated fats as said above.

On a daily basis, I usually consume about 350mg of cholesterol but it comes mainly from canned tuna, chicken breast, and other healthy stuff like that....I guess it's ok
