Cholesterol on STEDS

I got my bloods back today and my cholesterol is better being on steds than not.

HDL 44

My LDL needs to drop 18pts but I am also factoring in eating for bulk.

    Blood pressure 118/72
    Fasting blood glucose 82
So far I am feeling pretty good with my over all results. I do keep my doses relatively low though.

    400mg/wk Test E
    500mg/wk EQ
    250mg/wk Tren E
    200mg/wk Masteron
    4iu/day HGH.

I literally eat 1lb of spinach per day as a salad with my meats. Also run 5k 2-3 times a week. I am up 11lbs from last year's weight and 2% body fat increase. I will adjust my diet to cut the fat back that 2%.
    Currently
    38yo
    6'3"
    216lbs
    15% bf

I wish they did that for me.
    My HDL 0.47 !

    B.P. is 170 / 128
I have reduced my doses and cut the Deca, more tests next week so hopefully there will be some improvement.
Also using supps and meds to improve cholesterol.
It just shows how subjective the effects of AAS are and how important it is for individuals to experiment and find what suits them rather than following a one size fits all protocol..

Can't you get BP meds like old folks get? My mum and dad are both on BP meds.

The Dr checked my BP said it was good, forget what it was and no idea how it could be normal cos I feel like a raging lunatic

    ...

It depends on the type of BP med.
Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) can be a problem with steroids, as they reduce fluid volume, which can make the blood thicker and more sticky, and more liable to form clots.
ACE inhibitors are not a particular problem, but have limited effect.

TBF one problem I commonly see with recreational steroid users is that whilst they may have their dietary macros nailed down quite well, they don't pay sufficient attention to the amount of sodium and potassium in their diet.  Making small lifestyle changes such as this, is a usual first line approach for moderate hypertension before people get prescribed meds, yet many bodybuilders turn to meds when a small dietary change can make big improvements.  This can reduce fluid volume, and when coupled with fish oils and perhaps a baby asprin, the blood stickiness and clottting problem becomes less of an issue.

Yes that`s an issue for me as my hematocrit ratio is too high as it is.
I am trying to address these issues by diet and more natural methods first before going on any more meds as they all have some negative side effects.
