I have tried it a few times. It did work although the negative outweighed the positive, for me at least.
I get the shakes quite bad, would sweat profusely and wake up in the middle of the night 2/3 times covered in sweat and having to go to the toilet. This lasted for a month or so after the cycle also.
Like others have said above, intermittent fasting is the way to go. I've been getting great results with IF and zero cardio and have been sleeping like a baby at night now!
