Close grip bench when chest aching?

Its triceps day for me and I was thinking about doing some close grip bench. I wondering is there much point in doing these if my chest is still aching from when I did chest. I know close grip is a triceps exercise but the chest assists in it and I would obviously want to get the most out of it.

Any opinons welcome

Thanks

Yes i would still do them, just be sure that you really focus on your form ....elbows nicely tucked in at the sides.

    Yes.

    As noname says.

Also, bring the bar nearer to your upper abs rather than your chest.
