Coconut Oil

Can someone recommend me a coconut oil please,?
I've been wanting to add this to my diet for a while now considering the health benefits including brain function..

I noticed someone mention the use it for energy with a coffee for their Preworkout..

Any advice as I see lots of products for hair and moisturiser but not sure if that's edible?

Thanks, Adam.

pretty much all the bulk suppliers on here sell it. i'd go so far as to say it's made by the same manufacturer as they all seem to have the same tub, so just find the best price & customer service and fire away.

you can get it in supermarkets aswell (with all the cooking oils), but it's a similar price for a small jar.

i like it just out of the tub with a spoon - i've tried one of those silly 'bulletproof coffees' and you just end up with a coffee with a thick greasy surface layer. No thank you.

I don't know about online but in shops like wholefoods and H&B, Biona are the best value IMO. Still pricey though.

I've bought it from Holland and Barret so far when it's in their penny sale (get 2 jars for the price of one).  I ran out last week and wanted some so just got some from Tesco and it was priced the same as H&B so I'll just get it from there from now on.  A jar lasts me months anyway so I'm not too fussed about the price.

Just spoon the coconut oil into the mouth and wash down with coffee... The 2 mix very poorly.

How much do you spoon in per day?

It's about 15g give or take, but I usually get more than that as I spoon it hard... No innuendo.

Last week I bought from this place on a recommendation from a few people in the Supplement offers thread

Its the best value about at the moment, order came quick and the Litre of Coconut oil for £9.99 is excellent.

yes for frying its fine although same rules apply as Virgin it doesnt have a high smoking temp. Dont let it smoke it can be bad for you.

Yeah although it has a high smoking point you still need to heat it slowly in the pan.  Very cheap at £3 for 500g.
