Collars for scaffold bars

What do you guys use for collars on your scaffold bars? I have spring collars but they are a little too big.

Thanks

I got some screw down collars from gymratz. They work fine.

Thanks. I'm currently using rubber bands for the inside but I find they slip a bit, could try taping them.

voivoid, are these what you mean? http://gymratz.co.uk/weight-training-gym-equipment/item13.htm

I have just got a scaffolding bar - what could I use to be welded for the inside collar of the bar?

I thought about using one of those collars sold on gym ratz and get it welded on my bar? Would this work?

It would work great T-bone. I havent got round to getting it welded on mine yet, but just keeping it screwed down tight works well.

Just asked the old man and he seemed to think it would be very difficult welding the triple plated chrome collars to the galvanised (?) scaffolding bar?

Welding to galvanised steel will result in some very nasty fumes as the zinc burns off. Avoid! Grind it back to bare metal first.
