Coming to London first time next week

I'm coming to London first time, staying at a hotel near the Tottenham Court road. Planning to do something with the lads in evening.

Any good clubs around the region or not far away? I mainly prefer RnB/Hip-Hop music.

Also, is it true that you need to be on a guest list to get into clubs at London?

Don't think anyone wears blazers anymore.

Best to be safe and wear shoes.

There is a club right on Tottenham Ct Road - by the bus station - that had hip hop.

Leicester Sq has a few Hip Hop places - CC, Equinox etc.

Something to do with fashion I think. Ask Lovejoy.

If its a dance club - Fabric, The End, The Cross, Ministry etc - then you can wear trainers but if its a trendy club then you will need shoes. Depends on the music really. But if you don't mind wearing shoes then you might as well wear them just to be safe. Even bars in town make you wear them sometimes.

The old black socks over trainers trick doesnt work anymore either.
