Computer Help: Reformatting/Bleaching Windows XP

Well this computer has really gone to **** lately and it has been about a year since my last reformat so I figure it is time. I have a program called Window Washer with a Bleach setting that basically destroys everything on the hard drive, like a data dump. I was wondering if it would be O.K. do Bleach my hard drive before I reformat just to make sure everything is new and fresh again, or would that cause some problems when I try to reinstall XP? Thanks for your help.

It will make fukc all difference, just format it if you feel you have to even do that.

    I wouldn't reformat.

Reinstall windows, more than likely your registry is corrupt, one of the shortcomings of windows.

as long as you have your stuff backed up,

** and don't forget your outlook PST file and your internet explorer favourites **

    (thats what we normally forget)

rebuilding your box isn't that bad an idea once in a while

i porobably re-build at least my c drive once a year

** just make sure you have all the key drivers on disc (i.e. motherboard, if necessary and network card) **
