Contest shoes

Sorry I think this query was posted by someone ages ago but I can't find it now...
Does anyone know of a website in the UK (I'm coming back in 2 weeks) that sells those contest shoes with high platform heels?
Thanks in advance:)

    Hiya,

You need to be careful as it depends on the association you are competing with. If its UKBFF then they only allow your standard stiletto type shoe. Others do take the high platform shoes.

Victoria, do you mean by platform (you can see I've been living abroad for years as I can't speak English anymore!) the type where the whole heel and toe is joined in one block? And by 'stiletto' where the heel is separate from the toe even though it's not spikey? I always thought stiletto heels had to be very thin and spikey. If platform means all in one block then I never would buy those type anyway as I think (just a matter of personal opinion) they look clumsy and ugly. I prefer the shoes that have a high heel that is not spikey but is separate from the toe.

I think Victoria means a platform just on the sole, something like this:

I think you're thinking of wedges...

Funny thing is... If you look at the UKBFF pics from the weekend UKBFF South East the top two are both wearing non-regulation shoes with our Lollie who placed 3rd -well done wearing the correct closed-toe shoe...

    Hi guys,

Sorry, when i said platform, i ment the ones with the thick sole, like the picture posted above. Often they have a thick clear plastic sole and heel.
I agree with flick161, i noticed this before i entered the stars comp last year and was confused. so i call the ukbff up and spoke to the man who was organising the show and he said to me stick by the rules love as i notice these things. As when i competed, they werent all in regulation gear either. |Not fair really for the ones who obide by the rules

I'm likely to get slapped for this but.... Isn't this the same type of footwear chosen by the "employees" of establishments like the Moonlight Bunny Ranch?

Not to sound horrible girls but check some of the erotica and porno sites as they will stock them.
Some of our girls hire them on shoot.

I'm going to push my luck... and this apparel is worn on stage? Just think how much money I've wasted in lap dancing clubs.

interesting that the girls dress themselves up as porn stars to be judged on thier physiques.

I think if porn stars dressed the way us figure girls do, the industry would be in crisis!

A sparkly bikini and clear high heels do not a porn star make......unfortunately. I could do with a change of career.

True, but.... If men don't need to wear heels then neither should women. This bit has always confused me together with two-piece versus one-piece bikinis and just how much a competitor is permitted to reveal of their butt.

That's because we have Figure and Physique classes... The figure classes are made for the women to show off a more feminine physique if you like, hence wearing of heels to elongate the legs...

I can safely say I've never looked like a porn star/slapper/hooker when I've been on stage wearing a pair, or with a thong bikini...

You know that saying if you've got it flaunt it??
