Converting a file

Hey guys i have a .vob file that is 989mb big, its only 20 minutes long and the quality isnt too good, I was looking to convert it to an .avi and maybe get it down to 100mb, how would i do so?

    You need to use a converter and a odec such as xvid or divx. I used to do it all the time (converting dvd -> divx) I used vidomi... it takes a while though. But to be honest I don't bother now and just copy the dvds as dvdr media is so cheap.
