Cool site where you can customise your own supplements

Only problem is its a US site and shipping costs a bomb.  I wish every country had this, it's pretty cool, mix up your own protein (choose whey, casein egg, beef hyrdolised or whatever), or custom supplement shake (just choose your creatine, Beta alanine  BCAAs) the quantities that YOU want and no extra crap, choose flavour etc.  You can even make custom oatmeal, and choose your own type of oats, fruit, nuts etc.

I live in asia so the shipping makes it not feasible. :(

BTW I don't work for them and cant vouch for the quality or delivery speed etc.  Just thought it was a really cool idea.

This country (UK) does have something similar...
As for shipping to Asia, not sure!

You're best off buying the powders from your home country and mixing it up yourself

What you mean like just buying a tub of casein and a tub of whey and mixing it all up?  It's not as fun because you cant choose a mix of like 20 different powders without buying 40lbs of **** in one go.
I kind of like the idea of getting a mix of beta alanine/creatine/BCAAS/cyclodextrin all in one to just have as an intra workout, maybe some other **** too if i did some research.  but as for buying that stuff in pure form myself I wouldn't know where to start looking.

So basically sticking with my tub of whey, tub of casein and tub of creatine for now.

How about focusing on your training and diet? You don't need supplements anyway, as you don't want to lift "heavy" iirc.

I don't think you recall correctly, if we had a conversation before, I have no recollection of it.  I'm trying to use the supplements board to talk about supplements.  No idea what your purpose here is.  Troll someone else.

Don't think there's a cheap option for you.  But I feel your pain.
Working out and eating high protein, clean foods is directly linked to standard of living.  So, yeah you're gonna have a hard time in most asian countries.
One thing I've noticed in my travels is that poorer countries favour a lot of calorie dense foods, high in carbs and fats, because meat is more expensive.  It makes it much harder to eat clean,   Add that supplements aren't cheap either and you're fighting uphill a bit

Not going to help the OP in Asia, but in case the subtlety of the TPW reps was missed for those of you in the UK - http://www.theproteinworks.com/creator.html

Most of the bold items are available from bulk sellers. And in amounts from 100g up - not 40lbs. The flavours you mention (between 10 and 15) too. Any company (and I'm sure TPW wont mind me saying so) that blend for you charge you a fee for it. The DIY is possible. What you pay for, with ready made or custom, is convenience.

It's not trolling. Often we see a too high a focus on supps over eating right and so on. Basics first, supps after.

Did you even read his post?  First of all IT'S THE ***ing SUPPLEMENTS BOARD.  what else are we gonna talk about here?  You want to add a caveat in every thread about training and eating right?
Secondly, he seems to have some personal gripe towards me, because he think I don't train heavy and therefore "don't need supplements".  A.  I have no idea why he thinks I don't train heavy.  B.  Who the **** came up with the idea that only training heavy requires supplements?  Runners for example would benefit from Beta-Alanine.  C.  he's totally condescending.

Think I've given that numbskull post way more time than it ever deserved already so whatever.

I have to agree with Bob McBobberson.

It was a condescending post, hes started a thread talking about supplements and hes being told to focus on your training and diet. What has that got to do with the OP?  hes asking about a customisable protein shake hes not asking for training advice.

Then he says "You dont need supplements as you dont want to lift heavy". How would Lancs Lad know what training he does? whos he to tell if he needs supplements or not?

This is the Supplements Section the OP has asked a perfectly reasonable question about supplements .

EDIT .Im not saying my mate Mobster isnt right when he says basics first, of course he is and a lot of guys are buying way to many supplements who are clueless and need to be told. I just dont get the impression that this is the case from the OP.

Yes I did. I merely explained what's often said and why. Anyone else reading also benefits, if need be, from the info. Not just those that don't need it. It's always worth repeating.

I also suggested how you can buy some of the bits you described adding in smaller amounts (100g). You can thank me later. And there's a reply above with the name of the site. Hope that helps.

Cheers Redwing. You know me well enough to know my intent.
