Cotto V Judah

Both fighters made the weight, with Cotto 1.5lb heavier at 146.5lb.

Anyone looking forward to this fight and/or have any predictions?

I think Cotto has settled at 147 quite comfortably and should win a fairly one-sided contest after overcoming a bright start from Judah.

However, Judah is actually quite a good technical boxer with lightning speed and should not be underestimated.

Judah always starts well but I reckon Cotto will win on points. Then a small riot will break out where Judah will throw a stool and try and punch the ref.

Everytime I think of Judah I remember thet Tzysu fight its so funny

Interesting, cotto ko'd judah yet judah went the distance with mayweather.

Id like to see the winner of margerito v williams to fight cotto and the winner of that gets to fight mayweather.

Cant help but think that cotto has what it takes to take mayweather. He uis more like a prime de la hoya, if dela hoya went the distance with mayweather in a close fight, cotto hs better stamina and i think can beat mayweather.

My take on it is a little different, but you also make some valid points.

While Cotto showed tremendous heart, Judah caught him far too easily for my liking. Mayweather is faster, fitter, sharper and much more technically adept than Judah, and would present a target that would be much more difficult to hit.

De La Hoya V Mayweather was not a close fight, Mayweather won it quite easily, plus it was at 154. If Mayweather came down to 147 he would be even faster, and would simply win more rounds.

I can see Mayweather taking on Mosley while he waits for Margarito, Williams, or Cotto to establish themselves as the main man at 147.

Hopefully Hatton will also pull his finger out and chase the bigger fights after Castillo. Assuming he wins of course.

How can you say Mayweather won easily when boxing opinion is completly split on the fight?

Because he wasnt in the least bit troubled at any stage during the 12 rounds.

In my opinion, some of the scoring was influenced by the crowd. DLH threw a lot of wild flurries, none of which connected cleanly and he looked like an amateur.

The thing is, a lot of people hate Floyd Mayweather and want him to lose. Which means they see things in a different way than the neutrals.
