Could anyone critique my diet please?
Firstly this is my first post,so hello to all. I've been lurking here for quite a while and have gained some invaluable knowledge from you lot so thanks for that.
I've read ToxicToffee's article on posting your diet,so here goes.
First my stats. I'm 37 y/o male,5'7" 153lbs with 14.8% bodyfat measured with the accumeasure callipers.
My goals as stupid as it sounds is a tricky one,I've been training on a 3 day a week full body workout for the last 4 months just using compounds,Squats,deadlifts,widegrip pullups,bench press,shoulder press and dips.
I originally started this to lose some weight,but got bitten by the bug when I started to see a change in shape.I've lost over a stone in weight.
I should add that I'm a postman and walk for 3 miles a day up and down steps with 16kgs bags on my back.
Now I've reached this weight I can't decide whether to continue losing the bodyfat,I've been told by others it would be better to get down to a single figure bodyfat% and start a lean bulk from there?What do you lot think??
So as goals go,yes I want to add some lean muscle.
Anyway sorry for the long intro,here's the diet.
04.15 am Get up
04.30 am 40g of whey in water,Oats with some blueberries and a banana.
07.00am 2 oat cakes with whole earth peanut butter,1 apple.
09.00 am (I'm out on my delivery)
09.30am 1 seeded bagel with 2 slices of roast beef.
12.00 1 smoked haddock,wholewheat pasta a little olive oil and lemon,4 brocolii
2pm 1 banana and handfull of almonds.
3pm Train for just under 1 hr.
4pm 40g whey in water with a scoop of glucose powder.
5pm 1 bagel with 2 slices of beef.
8pm Turkey,veg stir fry.
10.30pm half a pot of quark with some peanut butter and a tsp of flax oil.
I drink at least 3 lts of water a day,on Saturdays I have a cheat meal which is usually a pizza or steak, jacket pot and a big pudding.sticky toffee pudding...mmmm pudding.
Not taking any supplements other than the whey and a little flax oil.
I don't really weigh my foods I just eat and see what happens,probably get flamed for this! I don't even know the amount of calories that are in this whole lot,sorry.
