Could you do this job?

Not an awful job by any means and the pay is good, but would you find it hard to stomach the dreadfulness of it all?

I know a few stewards from the navy who do that line of work there all trained up in silver service and that so its quiet easy for them to slip into that roll. TBH if the family was a good fit with me i could do that job (obviously i cant do silver service but i can make jagger bombs like no mans business!) However if the family where stuck up then i dont think i could.
Iv did worse jobs.. climbing around in sewage tanks is the first one that pops in to my head.

If I had the experience then yes...Sounds like a good job and would only be the same as working as a concierge or porter in a hotel....I was a chef at lots of hotels when I was younger and trained to do silver service and what not so yeah I would take it if I could.

No, I don't have the relevant experience but other than that I would have no issue with it..........except living off that salary.

Not an easy job to do I imagine - standard of presentation and attention to detail would have to be immaculate at all times. I remember a TV programme where they trained up butlers and it looked very hard to maintain the expected standards. i.e. folded napkins are measured and need to be millimetre perfect etc.

One of those types of jobs that is suited to a particular personality type I feel.

I don't pay my butler anywhere near that and she looks after my kids and lets me sleep with her too!

    You're confusing a butler with a nanny
