Could you eat like Hercules?

When The Rock was filming Hercules he posted his diet on Twitter.

He said he followed this religiously for 22 weeks so he could put on the muscle required for the role(as well as ancillaries im sure)

    Yeah why not?

It's no different from going on a 5-6 month cut.

I recently just done a religious 5 month cut without breaking from my plan once.

Did you see good results Calza? 6 months no deviation from a diet takes some serious willpower. Good going mate.

It just looks so boring day in day out but I suppose he has chefs cooking it for him who can make it
Interesting. Don't think you can smell what the Rock is cooking anymore! Doubt he cooks much!

If I was being paid silly amounts of cash and had my own chef... Then of course.

Looks very boring mind, but I could do it with the right circumstances.

Thats a lot of food but as he is a large guy and has obviously been eaten correctly and in volume his whole life its probably easy for him. I eat a lot but I think I would struggle with that my digestion wouldn't cope with all that protein. Maybe I could do it for a week but not months.

I probably couldn't but I have a full time job besides training, don't have someone to do all that cooking for me and I'm not getting paid millions to do it. In fact I'm not being paid anything at all.

The strict regimen these Hollywood celebrities follow to prepare for a role is never really something we can realistically hope to replicate because they have a completely different lifestyle and can dedicate themselves 100% to that and when you're getting paid millions for it I'm sure you have motivation in spades.

Besides Dwayne isn't your typical Hollywood actor, he's been lifting weights since I was born and made a name for himself in the WWF. This is what he does.

Yep as above totally unnecessary protein intake unless carbs were ultra low, and even then I wouldn't advise it for too long, even with alot of water and training you're asking for kidney troubles over time.

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

We all know he's not natural! And he's a big guy. I'm sure all the protein in used efficiently. George farrar is his trainer/prep guy. I wonder if he wrote the diet for him.

Anyway, would cost us near £500 a month just in food bill!

Maybe  he doesn't feel full unless he eats that much protein.
