Couple PBs

 
115kg power clean and 95kg snatch from this week. Nothing special but I can only deadlift 170kg (seriously lol) atm so I'm not even strong! My squat is about 170 as well. Progression has been due to improved efficiency mainly.
 

 


Body Weight - 83kg 
Bench - 145kg
Squat - 190kg
Clean & Jerk - 129kg
Snatch - 98kg

    Cheers. For the past four weeks I have trained 3x times as I have exams coming up. Two Oly sessions and one upper body session. I train around a reoccurring knee, back and wrist injury so I can never do olympic lifting to the full for a prolonged period. The most recent issue has been a wrist injury which meant no power cleans, cleans or jerks for a while.
     
    I may be able to do some full cleans next week. It will be interesting to see what I can do.

    Why don't you knock the Oly lifting on the head for a while then?

    Because it's fun! Constantly learning and there is always something to work on. I also coach the university weightlifting club with two others. We have a good number of people and so it becomes a fun training environment. We have 5 platforms just for us 4x week so there can be a lot of us lifting together. 
     
    The injuries don't prevent me from training. They reoccur every now and again. It's just part of the sport to get niggles. I'm pretty good at rehabbing them and working around them so I can still lift heavy in general. It just means I can't take Oly lifting to the next level, training 4-5 times a week. I'd like 110/140 one day.

    Shame about injuries, but still good to PB what you can train and do!

    Yeah. Whilst I'm not suggesting for one second I enjoy injuries, I have learnt a lot due to them. It also makes training interesting. It is what I study at uni, so I feel honoured when I actually get to feel one in the flesh.

    Nice triple extension on the snatch! Get that clean up, you can jerk 140k overhead!
