Cueto eye gouge

http://www.youtube.com/wa...e=youtube_gdata_player

Looks like he'll get banned and miss world cup brilliant news for English rugby, coz he's sh1t.

Is he one of the best wingers in England, no. Is he fast, no, Is he good at finishing, no.

Let's face it stupid thing to do number 1) take on someone almost a foot taller than you, 20+ kg heavier than you. Number 2) line him up for a punch and blatantly strike him with an open hand to the eye area.

Like I said no great loss to English rugby he's past it and only in the team coz he's jonno's mate. Opens the door for strettle etc.

Min ban for gouging is 12 weeks or something like, end of career calling I reckon best place for him.
Did I say he's cr@p!

eye gouging is pretty sadistic

lifetime ban for that crap imo, just too dangerous and entirely unnecessary

Current goals: get back in the game

I agree with kaldog

I do a lot of push ups and sit ups. And I drink plenty of milk.

When I first heard about this I thought no way would he do something like that, Im staggered by that video, I played for over 10 years and there is nothing more disgracful in my opinion than making contact with another players eyes.

Dirty and VERY dangerous ! there was only a story on the BBC a while ago about a lad losing his sight ...... link - http://news.bbc.co.uk/spo...ugby_union/8663226.stm

As much as I respect all he has done for England, I hope they ban him for a long time .... the RFU don't seem to do a lot though, remember that dirty southafrican gouging in the lions match, he was back playing in no time.

I don't mind a punch up or whatever (as long as its fair) , but doing dirty stuff like that should mean a very long ban and a big fine.

He should be cited for it, but I doubt he'll miss the world cup.
Not sure who would replace him though...maybe Strettle, or Banahan, but i'd prefer to see Simpson-Daniel, if he can not get himself injured AGAIN.

sort of true, though you do have guys like roy keane making sickening leg breaking challenges - and not always by accident

not quite as messed up as intentionally putting your hands/fingers near somebodys eye/eyesocket but still pretty disgusting

Current goals: get back in the game

It's not unheard if for a bit of finger up bum action, but I guess that is rape. Might just of been the showers I was in but there were rumours about it on the pitch.

I thought football was classed as non contact.
I can accept that in rugby players get overheated and throw a few punches etc which is almost expected in a match due to the contact. What cueto did is neither manly or accepted and deserves everything he gets good riddance.

In football if there is late tackle etc or a bad challenge it results in a mass pushing session as it's played by f@ggots who are over paid and can't throw a punch unless it's 3am on a Sunday morning and their pi$$ed.

You can lamp the hell out of someone in rugby and say sorry sir to the ref, now that's manners. In football they tell the ref to fcuk off.

Football gentlemans game played by thugs, rugby a thugs game played by gentlemen.

Yes I hope he gets banned too.  Banahan is crap though, Strettle is good, Simpson Daniel is quality.

Toffs, or do you mean educated!

Rugby use to be taught mainly in public schools, but now taught in most comps as well.

Guess you haven't played rugby Red and feel left out. Did you not pass your 11 plus or the money to go to a school that played it.
