do you find your recovery rate better than the standard whey and simple carbs shake?

I rarely notice any difference when I add carbs, when bulking I do add them simply for extra calories but I cannot honestly say I feel it really helps apart from that...... and yes, I am trimming down the old insulation, it's hot out there you know!

I take 30g of Hydrolysed Whey Isolate with 50g of Dextrose/Maltodextrin and 10g of Leucine in a pint of milk. Oh and a couple of caps of Glucophase XR by DS.

I highly recommend adding some bulk Leucine to your PWO shake if you don't already - it's cheap and very effective

Definately, but im also using 15 units of Humalog which also explains the high amount of carbs.
