Cutting diet...

Hi,

I'm trying to cut some body fat...!

Currently 5'10", 16.5st and 20% b.f.

Want to get down to 15% initially...but not too fussed about losing weight, if anything I would like to maintain my bodyweight as much as possible.

Here's the diet I'm currently on:

meal 1
3eggs,2brown bread,1scoop of whey
1 kiwi

meal 2 (11am)
150g chicken
green veg
20g brazil nuts

meal 3
150g chicken
green veg or salad
50g white rice

meal 4
2scoops of whey
3wheetabix with water

meal 5
salmon
sausages
2brown bread

meal 6
whey protein with 50g oats

I'm training a 4-day split, with HIIT on 3 or 4 days.

Thoughts/suggestions please...

Cheers,

Hugh

Thanks for the reply Daz!! :-)

Think I can live with those little tweaks. Where do you think I'd need to change it if the fat loss stalls?

Also, is the 3 x 30mins cv on top of the 3-4 sessions of HIIT cv I'm currently doing?

    Cheers,

    Hugh

If fat loss stalls, up the CV to 40mins ,I also keep my BPM under 100 .
Yes 3x 30 mins CV/fat burn  first thing in the morning (on training days or off days) or in the evening ,keep this CV BPM at no more then 100,you are just ticking the body over and burning the fat ,not trying to get fit.

You can also lower you carbs this is a sure way to shift fat but do it slowly lowing 30g-50g PW.

    Good luck Daz

Don't think I could ever keep my heart rate under 100bpm, fairplay to you!

    Thanks Daz.

All sounds good to me! I'll just have to knuckle down and get on with it....hopefully I'll get some decent results from this :-)

I've taken some 'before' pics, and may even post them up on here if my results are good!!
