Cutting pics and diet story

I accidently posted this in the journal thread, but think it may be more beneficial here...?

I've been reading this site for about 4 months now, but have never posted until now.

It seems like everyone loves a little story to help them be motivated regardless of their bodytype. So if this post motivates just one person, I'll be happy.

4 months ago I looked like a typical 25 year old. I had a skinny frame and a beer belly that was getting out of control. I ate takeaway 4-5 times a week, mcdonalds at least once a week.

I got involved in the gym after seeing the results of some friends hard work from work - who showed me this site. After getting over 'the fear' of going to a gym and being the noob in town, I was off. I weighed 11.5 stone and am 5'11.

On my first day I managed 3 pull-ups.

I started a "bulk" diet, which basically just meant I ate more chicken and whey protein. I had no plan or goal. Together with creatine, I hit 12.5 stone in 5 weeks. According to one of them body fat machines, I was 23.6% fat.

I didnt want to get big, I just wanted to get lean. So this is what I did to get from 23.6% fat to 9.9% in 3 months.

Wake 06.45
3 x Thermopure tablets

Mon  40 mins low intensity cardio  (9.5kph)
Tues  40 mins cross trainer (optional day)
Wed  40 mins low intensity cardio (9.5kph)

3 egg whites + 1 egg yolk scrambled or recently 30g egg white powder

10.30
  100g chicken breast
  1 oatcake
  Mug green tea
12.15
25g whey protein powder in water
  1 oatcakes
  Banana
  Drink water

13.00 (1h30 lunch break)

  Mon Chest/Triceps
  Tue HIIT/abs
  Wed Biceps/Shoulders
  Thu Swimming
  Fri Legs/Back

Immediately post workout 40g whey protein powder + 5g l-glutamine in water

14.45
180g tuna, salmon or chicken breast
30g wholemeal pasta or basmati/brown rice
  Mug green tea

 18:00
150g lean red meat or 180g salmon steak
   Large serving mixed vegetables

21.00
200g pineapple cottage cheese or 50g Bedtime Extreme

and that's it...

I done this mon-fri, and casually binged on the weekends. I.e. one/two takeaways and 6-8 pints of beer.

I took these photos two weeks ago.

I know there's alot of you who are ripped/cut a lot more, but I'm writing this to show any noobies such as myself! that it can be done and you dont have to put your life on hold to lose a few pounds. I now weigh 11 stone and just 2 pounds. I dropped from 34" waist to a 30".

I also now do 3 x 10 pull-ups as a warmup on bicep day :-D

    Thanks chode!

I tend not to get hungry. I think its just enough food to never be full or hungry. If I get hunger pangs I ride them out for the half hour/hour until I eat again.

Although saying that, I cant wait until start doing a clean bulk. I do miss big meals!!
