D-AA or Bulbine?

Hi guys,

Im looking to run a natty test booster but am unsure whether to use D-AA or a Bulbine based supplement.
If anyone has had any experience with these supplements please could you give me your oppinions on them?
In an ideal world I would probably stack both but cost rules that out.

Thanks in advance

Damon

really rate DAA but one thing you should be aware of is a side effect i got with it was it really boosted by appetite (obviously not bad if you bulking). not sure how common this is but i have heard of others mentioning it

Thanks for the replies guys, I guess DAA is more proven at the moment, have also heard great things about bulbine from the states too. I understand testforce 2 includes daa too? Does it include anything else in its ingredients?

Yeah of course - anabolic designs bullk - as far as I know its the only product around at the moment with a certificate proving the purity of the ingredient, so be aware that not all bulbine supplements are equal, if you can't see the certificate then probs avoid. I have more details on what to look for at work (at home on a netbook at the moment) if you're interested

for the time being, i'd go with testforce 2 (d-aa) + an anti-aromatase supplement. i've done so for 3 months and was satisifed. strength went up very fast and i was holding a lot less water than usually

I'm still waiting for some concrete clinical studies to prove whether bulbine is the real deal or not

I am running bulbine right now - 10 days and my initial impression is it is very promising!

I feel signs of raised test - more aggressive and libido and drive in that dept are as high as I have ever been.

The US is going crazy for it, our supp sold out over there in no time.

One of the original testers posted up this week lab results that they got back - and it would seem there is a lot of potential for the extract!

The DAA is defo the way to go. Bulbine is another one of those proven ingredients that supplement companies are now sprinkling into products just to make marketing claims.

For bulbine to be effective you need to use at least 50mg/kg. So for an 80kg male you would need 4gms per day. NO ONE is putting that in a product.

    Re:D-AA or Bulbine? 2011/03/23 10:52:32 (permalink)
Some more information on bulbine here - copied and pasted from an email so apologies for the weird font!!

The discovery of Bulbine Natalensis and its unprecedented impact on free testosterone levels has triggered a trend of bulbine products flooding the supplements shelves across the world.  Manufacturers are pumping out pills and proclamations of potency, drawing libido lacking onlookers in droves to their cyber doors.  What triggered this onslaught of bulbine bombardment that supersaturates websites, inflated claims, and deflating prices—more importantly how does the consumer sort through the confusion created by discrepancies in efficacy and cost?
THE BIRTH OF THE BULBINE BOOM
Bulbine Natalensis is a plant native to South Africa and is only one of more than a hundred species of Bulbine.  This particular species is renowned for its effect on a lagging libido and utilized primarily as an African aphrodisiac in those suffering erectile dysfunction or low testosterone levels.  The efficacy of this plant that was implemented as the “African Viagara” drew the interest of scientists across the globe that were determined to isolate the physiological response of males to the ingestion of Bulbine Natalensis.  Studies conducted with the mission of unmasking the magic measured serum hormone levels in male rats before and after Bulbine Natalensis consumption, the testosterone increase translated to nearly 350% of normal levels.  That’s 350% of freely circulating testosterone.  No secret why this plant derivative became the object of desire in the minds of those with the dollar signs in their eyes.
BRING ON THE BOOTLEGGERS OF BOGUS BULBINE
Now that a measurable impact has been recorded, bootleggers wanted to bank in on Bulbine’s ability without breaking their own bank account.  Once word got out about Bulbine, farmers of the plant found their crop supplies could not meet demands made by manufacturers.  As is the nature of economics, the demand drove the cost of the crop up considerably.  Now a very pricey crop, with profit making potential breaking through the margins of manufacturers’ accounting books, shortcuts to making the cash behind the claims began to surface.  And South Africa, with an infamous foothold in scamming Americans, spearheaded what has now become a viral plague of peddling the “great pretenders” of bulbine natalensis supplements.
    COMPOST BULBINE
Corner cutting in harvesting the crop is based on the core of testosterone increase being found in the stem of the plant, in fact, by this method a manufacturer will find that a purchase of seven kilos of Bulbine Natalensis will only yield one kilo of effective product.  South African scammers are selling a diluted mess of leafy compost; all under the guise of Bulbine stems;  like buying a bag with “steak” stamped on the outside but finding the slaughterhouse scraps they slop together to birth a hot dog.
    BOTANICAL DEBAUCHERY
Another insult to bulbine supplements are the utilization of another botanical variety of bulbine.  Since there are more than a hundred varieties, and only natalensis brings the bucks, other varieties can still legally label the product as bulbine.  You might as well toss grass into a capsule and proclaim its impact on impotence; these basic variety bulbine are as barren as conscience of those who throw them together.
    FOOLERY BY FILLERS
However, even manufacturers that choose to use true Bulbine Natalensis have found the tools to pull the wool over the eyes of buyers in bulking their bulbine blends with stimulants and other fluff that serves as fillers.  Ingredients such as caffeine give the consumer the impression of efficacy based on a triggered sensation. That’s not very nice, but it is very common.  These feeble formulas are as effective as the placebos placed in control studies and reflected in the reported dosage label, so instead of raising your testosterone, they only drain your wallet on wasted wares.
    SWINDLED BY SOUTH AFRICAN CERTIFICATES
Another alarming aspect to the bulbine bandwagon is that South Africans are offering their dubious “certificates” to substantiate the innocuous composite crap they carry to ease the minds of those exposed to dubious claims and counterfeit crop.  These are simply disreputable peddlers that prey on the price conscious, grabbing them by their gullibility with stock words like guarantee, promise and such backed by equivocal certificates to elicit a pseudotrust from the buyer.  Bulbine bullies.  Truth is, you can’t get true bulbine natalensis cheaply, so it can’t be sold cheaply--not by crop or by bottle.

Bulbine Natalensis will only show an increase in your own testosterone which has a different microscopic chemical appearance than the synthetically created counterpart.  Other components also tout health benefits supporting the synthesis of muscular tissue that is accompanied by hormonal increase. Restravol maintains cardiovascular health and has an antioxidant effect to promote health while you promote gains.

BULBINOLOGY 101--WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN BUYING BULBINE

    • SIZE UP YOUR SOURCE
Who are they, where did the product come from, how is it guaranteed? Ensure U.S. involvement, or multiple country involvement, stay away from South African exclusives, or those backed only by certificates of South Africa
    • THE GEM IS IN THE STEM
What part of the bulbine natalensis plant is being used?
    • FILLER FREE
Look for fillers in the form of caffeine (aka xanthine, theobromide, trimethylxanthine, methyltheophylline, theine, mateine, guaranine), a telltale sign of some bulking being done behind the scenes.
    • BOTANICAL BLEND
Ensure the botanical variety is listed first, and that if it is, it says natalensis.
    • YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
Authentic bulbine natalensis stems in an effective dosage will prevent the cost from dropping below 35.00  per bottle with very little profit to the distributor—anything less will be fluffed up, or bogus bulbine.

You need high dosages for Bulbine to work...

Try the Testo DAA. It works better than anything i have used when combined with a good SERM...

That was purely an example of some research done on the ingredient. Not being a chemist/biologist or having a detailed view of the research you could explain it...

If you want to look into it further, look at the references and go from there...

So this (Bullk) and Tauro Test are decent test boosters? I've read a couple of posts about Tauro test and it seems people rate it. Are there any other test boosters that you'd recommend?

I take the tauro test all the time and really rate it - alongside their fat burner it really accelerates fat loss very noticeably. Bullk I haven't tried (wrong time of year for me!!) but will definitely be doing so later in the year.

DAA doesn't get a great write-up on the site. However, at least you have the opportunity to use the right dose and use your own personal experience.

If a brand was to bring out a Bulbine product at a good price with viable dose, then i would at least try it.

Damn thats some impressive results...cant argue with the actual numbers. I know DAA is reported to increase test in the region of 50%, whats the % for the Bulbine?

Edit, I see earlier stated that its at 347% if dosed @ 50mg/kg
Can the addition of the Divanil (to reduce affinity to SHBG) in Phytoserms explain the effectiveness of this product??
